I'm not a fan of the film....but if I was, I know that I would be all over that! It is a nice package, and from what I understand, the only version of the 'Whole movie' as it was meant to be presented.

I didn't know it was the only version, that makes things even more interesting.

My OCD can't decide if I'd rather the death proof on it's own to go with the rest of my tarantino steelbooks though.

Choices choices..

i really enjoyed both parts of "grindhouse", and this was one of my first steelbooks. and maybe the first ever i really enjoyed and where i was seeing how beautiful a steelbook can be, especially when compared to other german steels of that time.

I think you should give me it :D

Okay this is a rare one, a few ones the bay that was said in a earlier post. BUT the OP says it's on
Amazon.de ? Same version or ?

I agree, I prefer planet terror as well, but when I will eventually have all of tarantino's films on steelbook, it would be a shame to be missing death proof.

don't understand the negativity aimed at death proof. great movie even though it's not tarantino's finest. to be fair though, even though i'm probably sounding biased, he hasn't made a bad movie yet...........

This one brings back fond memories. One of the very first steelbooks I bought when I was first infected with the steelbook bug. I had a quite a fever back then. Now, not as much but nothing lasts forever.

a real quality steelbook and definitely the best way to view both movies!! both directors, along with the directorial contributions via the grindhouse trailers, really nailed the whole 70s/80s cinema experience!!
and the acuna boys ad really was spot on. virtually all of the intermissions had a really badly edited ad for a local restaurant so adding that spoof trailer was a stroke of genius!!

Nor do i to be honest. I can only assume people are expecting a masterpiece from every tarantino film. Which in my opinion this isnt but still very good

Hmm cant seem to find one at a reasonable price :notworthy: Is there any other release for this beauty? Just need Tarantino complete collection :)
