From IMDB:
From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team–the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
With: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector.

Haha love that soundtrack cover. If the music in the trailers is anything to go by, then I'll definitely be picking it up! :scat:

Saw the 17 Min preview tonight! Looks awesome. It was basically the whole prison break scene from the trailer (if anyone was wondering...) along with the extended look that Drum just posted.

One this is for sure, Rocket Racoon is going to steal the movie. He was freakin' fantastic and the highlight of the preview. Safe to say, This is going to be a super fun sci-fi action movie and a highlight of the summer movie season. I was so sad when the preview ended, i wanted more! Can't wait to see the full thing.

I just realized this is my 1000 post!!! After almost 4 years of modest foruming, I finally reached it. So I think I'll post something a little extra for this one. Here is an image of the poster they gave away tonight, along with my Guardians of the Galaxy Funko Pop Vinyl Figures I just picked up! So Pumped for this movie!

This and dawn of the planet of the apes are going to make this month one of the best for movie goers.

Tickets booked for 12pm on the 31st of July at the BFI IMAX London :oohyeah:

Was thinking of doing that but train cost make it unfeasible eve with the young person railcard.

Have to cope with Manchester IMAX which is still good, but have to wait to pre-order as it is not up yet.

The wait is killing me especially after the preview this past Monday. The IMAX 3D is perfect with the composition and the filming angles for an almost perfect immersive experience.

Meanwhile checkout the trivia section for this on IMDB. Reading through that makes me really appreciate how much thought and gut feelings go into putting a movie together.

7/31 10PM when will you be here? :hilarious:

I'm so excited for this too! ...Sadly here in Canada, tickets are not on sale yet.

There was something that was bugging me about Gamora and I didn't realize what it was until now. Her Eyebrows!!! (or lack there of). Where did they go? or why get rid of them? It's kind of weird. haha

It's all about the BFI, awesome screen (largest in the UK) with amazing sound

Gamora's eyebrows are there but they are supposedly metallic (check them out at 0:15 of the latest trailer).

oh ok. still looks a bit odd to me. But I guess that was creative choice the makeup artist went with for her. It doesn't effect my level of excitement for the film at all, but I just hope I dont find it distracting when watching the film haha
