From IMDB:
From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team–the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
With: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector.

Those of you seeing Guardians in a few days or so, how old are you guys? I ask because I'm starting to think I might be getting too old to be seeing these Marvel movies lol. I'm 27 and plan on seeing it opening night. I love the whole Marvel universe and especially what they're doing in the movies. I will always be a fan but is there a point that will come where I should probably hang it up per say? Just curious..

If you enjoy them watch them I nearly had an orgasm when I first saw the pacific rim trailer on real IMAX, I wasn't bothered by the looks people gave me and the one number I got from a strange couple who kept putting there hand on my thigh "by mistake". and that is way worse.

BTW when did 27 become old? i'm 22 and don't consider it old.

My dad still watches the marvel films and he is 50- something.

Awesome...thanks for the replies! I don't feel old yet but feel like I'll be there in no time. I will definitely be the 50 something in theaters when Avengers 15 comes out lol! Guess you guys are right, I need to worry less about age and more about who I can expect to see in the post credits scene lol

I'm 28 and I go to see all these movies on opening night and usually end up seeing them multiple times in theaters. I might even get to see this one in IMAX 3D.
