exactly. Disney shouldnt continue their style, but with GOTG2 they did

Yeah but seeing a bit of groot above the bomb about to press it is a better design choice than just a hand on the vol 1 tape player steel.

You wouldn't get quills face on that design if you get what I mean whereas groot is only small so you can show him on the steel because of size comparison between him and the bomb

£32 for 4K; who is buying these!! Zavvi/Disney need to start looking at HMV/Sony/Fox on what to offer in a steelbook at a reasonable price!!
Price would be the same and separate releases
Reason why you see Disney releases more expensive with most retailers worldwide is the dealer price is higher

£32 for a 4K steelbook which includes the standard blu ray. How much would the standard 4k version cost in HMV or on Amazon, atleast £25? So 7 quid more for the steelbook isn't that bad really considering its 'premium' packaging

It might be considerable as 'premium packaging' if they didn't keep making such terrible art decisions for huge films with GREAT theatre posters. Fans of the first one wanted the artwork from the movie poster...they got a tape recorder. It wasn't hard to figure out using the (even more amazing) movie poster art for the second film would be what collectors want, but nope, let's do another random thing... sigh.

When they start throwing in lentis, PET slips, stickers and booklets THEN i'll consider it premium packaging. Until then it's just an easy way to cadge an extra £17 out of people for the same movie discs.

Still premium packaging whether YOU like it or not. Many people didn't like the original steelbook for the first movie yet it was HIGHLY sought after upon release, even more SOUGHT after years later and when Novamedia stuck it into some slips with some extas became something of a GRAIL. We all know the drill.. like it? get it. Don't like it? Get blufans. It's science

It's Zavvi's mark up pushing it above £30
It would have been the same with Hmv or Amazon
Majority of the retailers use a similar set formula in regards working out the retail price with little difference
Dealer price decides the retail price

When you have lower dealer price you have lower retail price
Some retailers have a extra file discount with distributors based on amount of stock regularly ordered from them or get special offers on some releases on occasions which reduces the retail price

Disney dealer prices are higher than other film distributors so there is less room for reduction in price with retailers and is why you also see the premium Disney releases prices also higher compared to other film distributor premium releases you get from likes of Nova/Kimchi/Blufans etc
