Remarkable! This is what steelbook collecting is all about. A simplistic but very pleasing to the eye design. Nicely framed and the use of colour is brilliant. The reds, whites blues and black is a lovely combination and this is the sort of design you could hang on your wall. We know who each character is and the spacing is spot on. In addition to that, it's completely different to the other designs and that is what I like, different approaches to something. My only slight gripe is the use of the image on the rear... as much as I like it, it's unfortunate Mantis isn't on it too and it isn't something a bit more matching with the front. They are completely different types of image.
I think everybody is looking forward to the rocket and groot moreso however.

WOW,

after the first pictures of the UE also this full slip looks in its simplicity really noble. The color of the sky is perfect. The shadows of the characters and as a highlight those red eyes of Starlord - Just wonderful! What two red eyes can align if the color selection as in this case was perfectly chosen. Clean work Blufans!

Actually, I'm someone who always owns one slip of a movie. Iam not a OC buyer because one 2D/3D/maybe 4K is enough for me. But here it is incredibly hard to keep only one edition. I had ordered all because I just could not decide at the beginning. Mmmh ... If the Single Lenti is going to be awesome too, and I think it will, then I have a problem! The Single Lenti also fits perfectly with my Groot & Rocket Edition of Part 1 !!!

Well ... maybe I can fill Edition 2 and 3 with other CDs.
Mixtape Vol.1 and 4k version for example!

Let's see how I decide in the end when the beasts have arrived at my place.

Guess I'm the only one not liking the full slip then... for such a colourful movie, the slip is very dark. The double lenti is the winner for me so far... no pics of the single lenti yet?

I feel exactly the same, but couldn’t be bothered to be the only voice of dissention. I also didn’t bother because I don’t care, it’s not the Edition I ordered

You are not alone here mate. I think it is looks okay. Hoping the Lentis are as good as Gotg1.

Watched the 4K UHD version yesterday on my 1080p Panny Plasma. Thought it looks great although I prefer the 3D version simply because of variable aspect ratio where it opens up on IMAX scenes. I must admit the PQ on the 4K UHD was a smidgen better than the 3D / 2D disc despite watching on a 1080p TV. On the audio front, I thought the Atmos mix was terrific.

Just waiting for CES 2018 and then will upgrade to 4K HDR TV sometime in 2018.

I didn't even know you could watch a 4K disc on a Panasonic Plasma TV. Which I also have.

You can watch a 4k UHD blu ray on any HD tv, unless its UHD and/or HDR the results will be better but not what you'd expect from a full UHD set up

Yes. The source is BT.2020 10-bit 4k HDR but what I will get on my Plasma is BT.709 8-bit 1080p SDR. The player is doing a good job with HDR to SDR down conversion. I know what I am missing but just playing the waiting game. I will upgrade when OLED TVs can do 1000+ nits.

Colours on this in 4K are very nice (another example of HDR done well) have to say though Spiderman Homecoming in 4K beats it all ends up especially in picture quality (I'm guessing due to the Dolby Vision)
