For this very special release, Anchor Bay went back to the vaults to present this legendary terror classic as never before, including creating an all-new HD transfer personally supervised by the film's original cinematographer, Academy-Award® nominee Dean Cundey (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Apollo 13, the Back to the Future trilogy), a new 7.1 audio mix (as well as the original mono audio), a brand-new feature length audio commentary by writer/director John Carpenter and star Jamie Lee Curtis, an all-new bonus feature with Ms. Curtis, as well as selected legacy bonus features from previous ABE releases. Available in a collectible limited-edition steelbook package.

In the op it says that its loaded with special features so my money is on the second disc being extras.

can't wait to see the inside and back art too, I have been waiting on this coming out on steel for a long time, hope everything is done just right and we get a fantastic steel out of it, a lenticular would of been great though

Yeah. That was the first thing I thought when this was announced. How cool a lenticular cover would be (like the old DVD)

Can't see that happening at this price though :(

yeah it could go really nicely with this, wasn't a big fan of lenticular on steels before but I have since changed my mind on them, but I'm sure it would of been announced already and for the price it is unlikely
