Response from ES about the finish they are going for on this release:

There’s an emboss on the title treatment, gloss varnish on the front, cutting out the characters and a dull varnish covering the back.

The red text and red image on the back is also a pantone red, which should be a bright pillar box red.

Think roadie said earlier his order from 25th did get cancelled so it's all a bit hit and miss but really unsatisfactory. this isn't even out for over another month yet so plenty of time for more issues. fingers crossed for everyone who does still have orders...

As with Jack Reacher, I think it's very likely they'll have set aside a % of the run for damages etc. That being the case, customers who have had order cancellations could theoretically be supplied from that reserve quantity. I suppose it depends on Play's policies though since ES is operating under their terms and conditions.

Yes would've been better if they take the payment immediately imo as it would be guaranteed, hassle free in the long run and refund the payment if someone physically cancels.

When you click on the link which takes you to the product page it shows the original artwork, so I hope that's just a little glitch and not an artwork chance since the thumbnail artwork is crap.

my copy was cancelled by play so likely thats why someone got a copy.

I had just created the acocunt for this purchase. The person I spoke to said the account failed a security check, I said they didn't even contact me to confirm the account.

Long story short they said there was nothing they would do even though I am on the phone with them confirming myself and now there is no way to uncancel the item and they are sold out.

Luckily I know a ninja or two here who has an extra one for me, always helping people out

So play sent me an email that said based on my contacting them over the phone they re-opened my account, but would have to re-order the movie.

To which I snarkily replied that will be unlikely as it is sold out.

Sorry OT, it just irritates me when people contact me after the fact

I think that is a glitch roverite, it happens at BB sometimes as well
