Response from ES about the finish they are going for on this release:

There’s an emboss on the title treatment, gloss varnish on the front, cutting out the characters and a dull varnish covering the back.

The red text and red image on the back is also a pantone red, which should be a bright pillar box red.

I think it's a safe bet it will be Star Trek Into Darkness. Granted they are a bit pricey, but at least they aren't going to skimp on 3d, which was pretty good in that movie.

The pics of this look great, I am waiting for a replacement from ES as mine had a scratch on the front. I emailed ES and they asked me to send the damaged one back and in the meantime despatched me another, so they proabbly crossed in the post. Fingers crossed it arrives today so I can finally open this beauty

I had one arrive with a scratch down the front (quite bad between the e & l). Is that the same as yours (therefore manufacturing issue) or was yours somewhere else. cheers.

Mine was by the big H, I could see the bare metal underneath so dropped ES an email and they promptly sorted it. No sign of it today, tomorrow all being well!
