Completely shameless cash grab, and even If these are nice looking with embossing/debossing, who in their right mind is going to spend £160 on the set, especially if it is only the standard releases, and from what I can see, the Deathly Hallows doesn't include the 3D either (even though it was rubbish)

As some have pointed out, I also already have the standard bluray 11 disc set, which cost me £18, I can't see too many people spending on these.

HMV starting to make the same mistakes as zavvi, beginning to churn out re-releases to saturate the already over-saturated market, and in doing so, destroying what was a great hobby (for me anyway)

All 8 look just great - totally smart elegant and with embossed titles (?) should look the biz.

Unfortunate pricing but I expect this to be adjusted to STAR TREK prices (GBP 14.99) initially and then to SHERLOCK: SEASONS 1-3 prices due to slow sales as we all have all the films and some of us likely more than one of the 4 complete collections below.
Hopefully nor STAR WARS prices which seem to be stuck high seven months after release

They took their sweet time with these steelbooks but no matter as they are all welcome and without these large matching collections the future U.K. steelbook release schedule would in truth look very threadbare.

Only own the one HP steelbook and that is the 3 disc (BD + DVD + Digital Copy) 2011 release DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1 but as no others were released at the time I'm really looking forward to this complete matching set and trust that:-
a) A price adjustment before release date is on the cards.
b) The finish is excellent and they are not disappointing in the flesh as if one is you can be sure they all will be.

Very cool of them to finally release a matching set of steels in the UK... they look really nice! It's too little too late for me though... I already own two different editions and I'm not even a huge fan of the films. Plus £20 each is way too much for catalogue titles. Surprised Zavvi didn't release something like this a long time ago to be honest.

i really like them - id have had the future shop releases but can never find the last 2 films for a reasonable price. I have the complete blu ray collection but really fancy a steel collection. Ill probs buy these

These have to be embossed got the futureshop editions (hp 7.1 is missing though) but I think I'll get these if they are glossy and embossed

Thanks for the tag Ninja Homie.....looks interesting, would like to see what they look like in the flesh as £160 is a lot & I actually prefer my FS Steels
Though I reckon these may prove to be a popular release as this being the first time the UK get a HP steelbook collection

It's possible the artwork could change just matter of waiting to see if this happens

The UK Harry Potter steelbooks it's possible might end up the same as the french steelbooks but with English Titles or have exclusive artwork for the UK releases as shown at the moment on HMV website

It's possible as these might be a Europe wide release we will know soon if other European retailers announce them
So far we have France and UK Artwork different at the moment but could end up the same or be different as in UK gets exclusive artwork

Just a matter of waiting to see what gets announced over the coming months
