Heat 20th Anniversary Edition and petition

Hello, all you movie enthusiasts out there!

I found out (via another forum) that Warner is planning to create a 20th Anniversary Edition of the film Heat. Its very possible that this would be a Digibook or a slipbox with a photobook.

With many previous releases of Warner anniversary editions, they have used the old disc's with old transfers, for example, Gremlins, Batman, Green Mile, and Goodfellas 20th Anniversary Edition, etc. They have also changed original poster artworks and often used some generic photoshop artwork in it's place.
I have started a petition that incorporates some ideas I have about what this 20th anniversary edition should contain, in the way of transfer, features,documentaries and packaging etc. I have listed these in more detail in the summary below.

Summary:

- new 4K transfer from the original camera negative

- a new documentary and all existing extras on a bonus Blu-ray Disc

- nice packaging with a photobook including many intertesting facts and information about the film, with great original colour film stills

- artwork should be the original blue or black poster artwork, no new photoshop cover

- audio needs to be remixed as well

If you're interested in seeing this become a reality? Please sign for an Anniversary Edition that does the film justice. Also i'm very interested in reading your thoughts on this anniversary edition

This is a great idea @Greyback :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
I think any fan of this movie would like to see the love and attention of a new transfer plus all the extra in some collectable packaging.

I've checked out your petition and signed it, good luck :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
