Do you reckon if its worth asking them to replace a dented copy?
After seeing these pictures I wonder if I should ask for a refund in stead.

i got mine today, packaging is very poor but the steels were fine luckily, just checked only 19 left in stock and its gone again

i think most of them have the mark on the top right of the steelbook (manufacturing defect)
my copy has it and i got it on release

I actually just spotted this for sale on PLAY.com via The Entertainment Store and put in an order. I must admit, it is a little disheartening to see the comments above, especially after having bought several a few months ago which were also flawed.

At this point, are we assuming that The Entertainment Store has been sitting on this stock all this time? Or do we think that maybe they bought up old stock from PLAY, that may or may not have been returned flawed stock?

I also have to say that it is disappointing when you receive an item that is obviously bent or dented, yet they still pack it up and ship it to you like that - especially when there's no damage to the external packaging! I've received a few items like that from different retailers recently, and it's actually shocking that the people packing the items have no common sense at all! The retailer would rather you returned the item than go through the effort of swapping the damaged one there in their distribution centre!

If it's play stock I'd be a bit annoyed as I placed an order with them back in December when it was either £7.99 or £8.99. They were unable to fulfill the order due to limited stock. It does seem very odd that ES has suddenly found this stock. Then again I remember play suddenly finding some IM2 stock and selling it at £19.99.

I have just received mine in the morning, if they are damaged, I will ask for replacements/refund or a partial refund

I ordered this yesterday when it became available again. Wasn't aware it was cheaper back in December as I've only been collecting steels since I received my first one at Christmas, but hey-ho, its a great film so it'll be worth it.

I've just checked Play and its gone again.
