In my book (a steel one) a minor paint chip in the corner is acceptable, whereas a banana steel is not. Maybe invest in a black marker? ;-)

I'm not convinced that black marker pen on a white-ish steelbook would look better than a small paint chip

My copy arrived from ES yesterday and was mint.

Same here. Mine arrived yesterday, and was as mint as you'd expect it! No problems whatsoever!

I'm so glad that I managed to get hold of one at a decent price, rather than pay eBay prices. I'm also glad that it arrived mint, as I was a little concerned after reading the comments above

I've have owned this steelbook since last year when WOWHD was giving them away for less then £8, and have only just got round to watching this film for the very 1st time ever yesterday and WOW what a film. So here's a few pictures, these are not the best pic's I've done (has the sun was going down when I was doing them).

yea saw it the other weekend too
- did u watch the special features? had no idea De Nerio's character was based on a real person :snipe:

Great, great film.

Yeah it was a brilliant and I can't believe this film has been out for 18 years and I've only just seen it. (In my defense I'd only just started secondary school that year)

Has for the Special features havn't watched them yet and the only thing I knew about this fim was it was some kind of remake of Mann's TV show L.A takedown.

mark of a film truly worth owning is if its still excellent decades after release - there are plenty of great movies i love which were made years before i was even born lol

...this is also why i don't bother with the nostalgia type zavvi steels like commando or the rocketeer - too stuck in the fads of time they were created :movie:

Was looking at play. Com yesterday and found this at a bargain price so I bought it instantly. Big fan of these actors and I haven't seen this film since its release so I'm looking forward to watching it again :movie:

Ordered a couple of these, thinking I could trade one or sell it at cost to help another member out, but one of them came with a loose disc, so I had to open it up to sort it out. Not a big problem as the case is mint (plus no damage to the disc) and I'll keep that one for me.

Unfortunately the other has a decent tear in the shrink wrap so wouldn't be ideal for OCD collectors either. No damage thankfully but annoying nonetheless.

Ah well, at least I finally got a copy at a reasonable price. Thought I was going to have to pay hand over fist.
