Missed out on this today was outbidded in the last minutes by £1.00 Really hate when people do that
you didn't get outbid by 1.00.
The highest bidder could have bid for 1000 and ebay makes him as the winner by 1.00. I don't know how they calculate, but if it was an expensive items, the the increment differs...5, 10, etc.
for example,
if the item is at 88 of your highest price, then he comes in and bid 10000 at the last minute, then ebay shows 89 even though he bid 10000. Even if you had time to counter bid it...he'll still win...unless you outbid him 10001.

I waited 6 months before I got one at a good price then another 2 came along cheaper

^^^ LOL. This in my top 5 steelbooks of all time for sure. I just love this steelbook.
This one along with Halloween, Zimmer 1408, Death Race, Wanted are all so damn good looking next to each other. The golden bronze tones just look awesome!!!
