With success of Japan steelbook thread, I think we must not forget HK where a lot of steelbooks are released every year. And since I'm from HK, I owned almost every release since Jan 2012... I need some help from other members for those releases before Jan 2012.

Very very nice, domalorite! I still havent figure out how to distinguish where the Avatar ironpack comes from. HK, TW, or CN? LOL!

The Lion King has no sticker? I have one, which I always thought was from China....maybe it is a HK version.

The Avatar boxset is the HK version released by DeltamacHK. It has a booklet and postcards inside. The data specs are printed on the back of the ironpack.

I think the CN version is the same packaging but with CN version ironpack?

The Lion King was my very first steelbook bought in HK. Like any newbie I opened it. I can't remember if it had a sticker on the front but it wasn't factory sealed. It was in a polybag with a large sticker (similar to Avatar KOR) covering the seal at the back. So in many ways factory sealed


The steels that don't have stickers on the front I have opened
Lion King, John Carter, Battleship, Cars2, IM2.

My Lion King CN is factory sealed, no sticker.

IM2 HK has a sticker!

I opened my IM2 and threw away the stickers! :eek:

Just like I opened my Thor in the hotel and throw away the plastic with sticker on it. Now it's no difference from other country releases.
