This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Note:
This thread is for your last movie SteelBook. If it's another kind please use the proper thread below:

After looking here, I just had a rough count, not easy 'cause it's all boxed and mostly in the front bedroom - but I got a far as 550 UK Steels (there are a few more I just can't put my finger on), plus the Foreign ones (here are more than 50 from Amazon.de alone) - so something over 600

Bloody ridiculous, I must be mental!

You and me both brother :cigar:

Congrats that's quite the accomplishment, I have no where near that many. At least half of them must be last months Zavvi exclusives. :hilarious:

I've scaled back massively.

After I lost Mum in December, I just decided to cancel a load en masse - not all steels, but over fifty at Zavvi, Amazon UK, Amazon de, and Moviemail.
Since late feb I've been ordering on a limited pick and choose basis (and picking up stragglers on the cheap) - still too many, but I've got to keep my mind occupied with something right now.

Combining two houses into one is a major task, especially when you're prone to breaking down like a child due to the circumstances, and Mum was a major collector in her own right, and space is at a premium.

But when I'm sorted, I really need to get pics posted of ALL the collections, so people don't think I'm just attention seeking!

I'm not, its a major addiction, and even Mum told me I had to stop on many occasions; very difficult when you've done it ll all your life - but I am trying.

So sorry to hear about your Mum mate. It's not easy dealing with loss and let's face it dealing with it this way is infinitely better for your own well-being than say, turning to the bottle!

There are times when I go on a Steelbook purchasing spree, it seems like a good idea at the time until I get a rude awakening after checking my bank balance. I'm trying to cut back too, in fact just this week I received my first in-hand Zavvi purchase of 2015. It's just the Asian retailers/Film Arena exclusives I find hard to dismiss. I'm a slip cover kind of guy so you know the drill. ;)

I've lost several family members and I know it's hard and you can never truly overcome it except learn to cope with it. Wish you the best!

Thank you mate, that's kind of you.
Losing several family members you will know what it's like - sadly all my family are gone now; bar two Aunts who seem to have fallen off the globe. Losing each of them is hard; but losing Mum, and in bad circumstances, is the hardest to bear - I still feel like someone ripped my heart out; and I'm not ashamed to say I love her to bits.

I couldn't turn to drink - I've seen far too many drink themselves into oblivion; and besides, Mum would never forgive me :)

I started a thread a little while ago about Mum.
I know everyone thinks their Mum is something special - and they always are to their families; but I swear, my Mum was amazing,, and so many people who knew her have remarked on how much they admired her etc.
I won't go on here, but take a look at the thread if you have a minute.

As regards Blus, yes I collect Slips too - and some dvd slips - and box sets - on of my best is Late Mizoguchi - 2013 present from Mum no. 1530 of 2000

Stay strong bud, remember you always have the HDN community, together we are a family, if not a slightly obsessive one. :D Not to sound too syrupy but I think I'm more in touch with people here than I am with some of my aunts/uncles whom I have very little connection with. Your Mum sound like a wonderful lady, my Mum means the world to me too and I'd even go far as to say I was and maybe still am a bit of a Mummy's boy. There's my confession!

I'll check out the thread mate, spare us getting our posts deleted. I was going to thank your post but don't want it to be misconstrued as insensitive. I think we need an "acknowledged" button or something like that.
