How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

I got these within the past 10 days (I started my SB collection 10 days ago)



Price of place amongst them is Tron Legacy 3D JB Hi-fi exclusive. It's just such an amazing steelbook, with the embossed title and the clean black design. I would recommend anyone who hasn't yet got this to do so.

It really is, and the pictures don't do it any justice. It has to be seen in person to appreciate how cool it is.

I'm not sure tbh, on their site it says "Awaiting stock. Order now" under the home delivery option. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. Especially considering the prices some steelbook's go for which aren't a patch on this one.

At JB-Hifi?
I did receive mine with several small dents/dings on the front from them as they just send it in a jiffy bag!!!
And OF COURSE that is not their problem
They do not even send other than generic mails back!

So good luck!!! On getting one and getting that one damage-free to the UK!

Did you not get a replacement or a refund?
I also requested them to pack it in a cardboard box so let's hope they do.

They state something as: not responsible for damages during transit for international oders... blah, blah, blah!

Really that sucks man, scared same thing will happen to me now, I have just emailed them to make sure the item is mint without any dings/dents etc prior to shipping it out and to pack it in a sturdy cardboard box rather than jiffy bag...

btw just read their consumer right/policy here and there is no mention of what they said to you so really they can't do that.

Maybe will contact them again now ;-) I mean reply to their mail they send me as their answer...

So I think they must package items they send abroad well enough or this one wouldn't be in such good condition.

Not really, normally just a jiffy bag albeit quite a robust one - having said that I've been lucky and not had a damaged one yet

It is still listed on their website as posted, but it has been "Awaiting Stock" for well over two months now. Every person I speak to (including a friend who works at JB) says it is unlikely they will get any stock.

I have the last two undamaged copies in my state (and I'm holding onto one of them long term). One store here has 3 left with ripped shrink-wrap and paint chips on the corners. The one on eBay is mine - just testing the market in regards to price.

JB's packaging leaves a lot to be desired. I stick to visiting the store!

Yes i like it too. It´s a little smaller and flatter than a Steelbook but is´t quite nice.
