How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

Today, I received The Crow and Sin City from Amazon Italy, both German releases.

Also, from Amazon Japan, The Dark Knight, Akira 30th Anniversary Set, and Jin - Roh.

Both were ordered last week.

My Crow from Amazon.es was lost in the post and they refunded me.

Actually Amazon.de's packaging is pretty good. Normally each steel is wrapped in bubble wrap, then placed inside one of their Steelbook boxes and then inside a larger box. This time they didn't have bubble wrap, but I don't think that's to blame for the damage to Judge Dredd. I think it was most likely done before shipping.

They haven't used bubble wrap anytime I've gotten the steelbook boxing. Don't even think you can wrap it in bubblewrap the way it fits in the box. I think the heavy cardboard is protection enough though.

What, Amazon? They're not known for it, hence the damage to Judge Dredd. Play.com have the best steelbook packaging no contest, it's specifically for steels and has foam and everything. Having said that packages from amazon europe (Germany, Spain, Italy...) ship from the UK, and my Reservoir Dogs from amazon.es arrived mint. Fingers crossed for you mate, i'm sure they'll arrive just fine.

my German steels that I ordered from amz.es ship from Germany; i.e. Judge Dredd, Reservoir Dogs, Land of the Dead, etc.

As long as i've ordered steels from any country through amazon the bubblewrap has been lacking. It depends on how many steels you order I guess, I only got a thick piece of cardboard and no bubblewrap when I ordered RD, but like I said they arrived mint. I saw pics of one guy from mexico who ordered through amazon and lived to regret it! International shipping is a whole different ball park..

Below are 3 copies of the Hungarian release of the Batman Begins/Dark Knight jumbo steelbook. Its a 3 disc version of the UK one. I'm a completist of the Nolan Batman films so I had to have this release but it offers only a country specific datacard on the back for differentiation. Anyway, I'm happy with it!

One of the steels has been 'squashed' very slightly on the bottom left hand corner. Its only noticeable when you look at the spine but theres no way I'm navigating the Hungarian postal service/retailer to try for a replacement, sort of the reason for a multi buy!

I know, its going to be crazy. I don't even know why I started to do it to be honest, it sort of snowballed.

How many? I'm not there to count them so I think its something like....

Batman Begins x 5 (+ 1 waiting for delivery)
The Dark Knight x 12 (+ 1 waiting for delivery)
Combination sets x 4 (+ 1 waiting for delivery)

Lets face it, when its written out like that, its impossible for me to come across as anything other than a freak.

Good on you! I've got one canadian and one german (re-release) of TDK, I want the original from Germany (without the banner) and the UK release.

Also, I have a Batman Begins from Best Buy. I really hope there are only two releases for TDKR, it'll hurt my wallet too much otherwise. One international version (like the avengers) and one Trilogy steelbook would be great. ANY price and I will pay it.
