This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Note:
This thread is for your last movie SteelBook. If it's another kind please use the proper thread below:

Avengers Assemble (Zavvi, UK)

Video of the lenti (view on youtube in HD for best quality):

Yes it's a matte steelbook, but it's a good quality matte steelbook. The Embossing is nice, the 1/3 slip is too and it actually has a title on the spine instead of the character images.
As I expected, the lenti is poor (it has depth but low clarity for characters behind Iron Man/Thor & only two positions). Despite that, I'm very happy with the Steelbook itself.

More pics (including comparison to UK original release) here.

To this day, I still will never understand the thinking behind that picture spine on the HMV...

Here's how I use the magnets, I get SELF ADHESIVE MAGNETIC TAPE/STRIP 10m x 12 mm VERY STRONG from ebay & cut it to 6 " lengths I then remove the self adhesive tape completely as its not good enough & I haven't been able to source the magnet without tape already on, this does take time but is needed. I remove the sticky tape by simply rubbing my thumb over it its not difficult just time consuming. I then simply replace this with Everbuild Mammouth Powergrip Double sided Tape 12mm Super Strong Glue, again ebay (remember at this point check to see what side is magnetising to the steel & put the new tape on the other side & use 4 strips per steelbook. I then place the strips on the back of the steel remove the paper line the steel to where its going to be placed & press it to the wall with an even pressure, this sticks the strips to the wall I then pull the steel away and make sure all the strips are well stuck going over each one with a good old press.....thats you done..........To date I have never had a single steel come loose & some of these have been up for over a year now. This method allows for me to take stell off & onn as much as I want. I'll post pics below

Today's haul. Been after Akira for quite some time, really happy with that. Pirates is pretty good in hand, as said. I'm torn because Curse of the Black Pearl is my favourite of the three but now that I've got it in hand, I feel like hunting down the other two to complete the set. Anyway... Juno is a steel pack and Gone Girl is the uk edition with the Amazing Amy book. Both from zavvi for a bargain price.
