How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

wow...bling bling effects on the green eyes and the apes/bridge Put against the sun and it will give you the bling bling effects It's a beautiful steelbook everyone.... Love it...embossed title...feels heavy...lots of goodies inside...worth the money! I highly recommend this steelbook - must have

I'm still waiting for mine. How long did it take to reach you May? One of the reasons I ordered it was because of the gold with black looks smokin' hot. Plus I like the banner in the middle where all the monkeys are going ape ****. Nice pick up by the way.

a friend from another forum got it for me...it took 2 days to reach from East coast to West coast with First Class shipping

and yes, the gold banner and gold strip is HOT...and you're right, blend in with the black very very well. This steelbook is even more beautiful in person. I love the bling bling effect when I put it against a light and move the steelbook back and forth... I'm so sure you'll fall in love with it once you see it in person.

This might be one of my top 5 steelbook in my collection

AcId, I ordered mine directly from Amazon.fr on 2 separate occasions, each time with other items. One came 10 regular days from the date of release (Dec.10) and the other took 11 days to the west coast.

This one is a damn nice steelbook worth MORE than what they are charging. By the way, today (Jan 1st, 2012) is the last day for the 5 euros off (Amazon.fr) for buying both ROTPOTA and X-MEN:FC which is another outstanding steelbook worth MORE than what they are charging. Without VAT, Apes is 18.5 euros and First Class is 17.5 euros and minus the 5 euros off for both, we are talking 30 euros for TWO top quality steelbooks. But shipping will run about 13 euros

I just watched Rise...... really great film! Outstanding performance by andy serkis (sp?).

Really nice steel as well, my only beef is the title/spine not being in english, but oh well.. can't win them all.

Yes they are the Monoliths. I bought them as a demo at Magnolia HiFi 11 years ago. Still going strong. I have the areius for the rears. One of these days I am gonna have to have a custom made monolith for my chenter channel. It would be perfect.
