How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

these stickers were included in the first release of amazon.de. It was not included in the re-release.

took me awhile to find out...

it's based on the wrapping...it has a PS3 bottom half peal-off sealed and the round blu-ray logo sticker...that came from amazon.de. DJHilalo confirmed it as he bought it from them when it first released. I took walruswarrior words because he said he ordered it from amazon when it first came out.

I read that mediamarkt re-release them, but they used the tight seal wrapper and the PS3 seal wrapper, but it did not have the blu-ray logo sticker. There was a small numbers that included from the mediamarkt by mistake, but most of them, people confirmed that there was no sticker inside.

Also, you can tell by the blu-banner. The logo is slightly off from the re-release. The re-release middle logo is offset higher near the edge. And the blu-banner color is different shade of blue as well. There is a 18 pages of discussion of it at the BD site.

To be on the safe side, the amazon.de first pressing had the sticker.

The listing on Amazon.de shows the bio hazard sticker, so I don't know if the above information is 100% accurate. Either that or amazon.de are dealing in a bit of false advertisement.

The current ones are re-release. The first printing was sold out in 2009. The pictures that you see came from the first printing. Many folks that bought the current available one confirmed no biohazard sticker. They don't have the blu-ray circle sticker on them. The pictures are uploaded by customers, not amazon. You can even see pictures of digipack, john hancock blu-ray.

Been catching up on my sealed UK steels and got these in today.

Very happy with Apes and X-Men (both ebay) but dissappointed with Super 8 and Adjustment Bureau (both HMV) as one wasn't even sealed and had scratches and the other shrinkwrap was properly ripped around the back. Don't think I'm being too fussy as I keep mine sealed so will be sending them back to be replaced

Very happy with Apes and X-Men (both ebay) but dissappointed with Super 8 and Adjustment Bureau (both HMV) as one wasn't even sealed and had scratches and the other shrinkwrap was properly ripped around the back. Don't think I'm being too fussy as I keep mine sealed so will be sending them back to be replaced

Yeah, I couldn't beleive it. The worst thing was it was obviously someone elses returned item and all around the seals were really badly chipped.

I've not used their returns process before so hopefully they understand why I'm cheesed off and want brand new replacements

I wrote them a very polite note explaining my OCD and saying that if I didn't recieve replacement copies in perfect new condition that I would just keep sending them back. Hope they get the message first time round though

I have picked up the Kill Bill Steel with Uma wearing the blach suit.

The cool thing is that i got the Steel and the Blurays seperate so i can keep the Steel sealed and can still watch the movies.
FYI the discs are locked region B
The red sticker means "watch out empty box"

I didn´t open it but when i shake it i can feel and hear that some cards are inside so i´d say yes they are included.
