How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

Just through the door today Saving Private Ryan which is better looking than I expected especially the inside artwork

I also got Shooter but its going back

Not overly bothered as receiving a damaged steel does not happen very often to me anyway and play will replace this easily

I was thinking the same ? I have purchased every steel play have released and have never seen or known of anyone ever going from order to received in 24 hours.

Can you send them back even if they've been opened??

Its Never been a problem in the past, how would I find damage on the back if I didnt open it

I went to Media Markt this morning and I came back with these :

I had already bought Predator and AvP but not the Alien Steelbooks as I already have the play.com Steelbook, but I thought it over and the obsession has gotten the upper hand, so I need to get the other 2 movies too now ...
State of play was a blind buy, but its a movie with Russel Crowe and the trailer is promising, so I think this won't go for trade/ebay.
I also saw lots of Chinatown/Beautiful Mind/Blade 2+3/Independance Day/KoH/Red October steelbooks too (plus 3 Paranormal activity 3 steels, but 25€ is just too much)

Shooter is quite nice in hand. Mark and the title is layered gloss.
Saving Private Ryan centre section is layered gloss.

I started collecting around this time last year. I was on holidays in Europe and walked into a Media Markt and noticed everything was so cheap, so decided to pick up some blu-rays then noticed the steelbooks! It was then I was hooked. I would go into every Media Markt I could find along my travels in the Netherlands, Germany then FNAC and Virgin stores in France. The hunt was on!

They are some of my most prized steelbooks because I can think back and remember where I was when I got it. Except in Amsterdam. Some things are still a bit hazey

It's disappointing Australia has had such limited steelbook releases as I would love to go out looking for them rather than always order from overseas.

Anyway, I lost count at 100...
