How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Digitalbabe, I know your going through some very tough times right now, so I really don't want to cause anymore stress to you. You have enough to worry about. But I do have an issue. I was wondering why was my original post deleted? It was 100% in agreeance with forum rules. This thread asks for pics of your collection, my posts of IM and Watchmen were absolutely a part of my collection, no question. So therefore it should have never been deleted. If by deleting my original post, you somehow blame me for "provoking" a hostile response from some of these people, then thats just plain wrong. Using that kind of logic, a women should not dress or look a certain way, because it may be too "provocative", and invite them to be attacked and *****. Does that sound right to you?

I never try to cause any kind of trouble when I post. But some people will see trouble everywhere they look. If these people insists on posting negative comments on my post, please let me deal with them, it would be my pleasure. You don't need more trouble than you've already got

Sometimes I think that the primary reason why I buy from Japan, despite its high prices, is the stickers and slips I get on the steels. Gosh! I just love those stickers and slips - although I have no idea what they mean!

I can read them yeah I love Japanese releases too. The slips are what makes them worth it

I have a few Japanese eds...love the lettering on discs and slips (though I don't buy them if I don't like the movie, thank goodness). Trying SO HARD to cancel the Underworld JP and Huntsman Limited set, LMAO!

Honestly I have no clue. I can only read hiragana and katakana. I moved away from Japan before I could learn much kanji

Thank you for your PM. Yours was not the only post deleted-all other posts in that entire exchange were also deleted per HDN forum guidelines.

We ask our members not to post pics of multiple rare Steelbooks (and you'll see other such posts deleted), because there are countless members looking for these rare Steels and it creates unnecessary hostility because of the desire of many members to own them. The overarching mission for everyone at HDN is to create a fun, friendly and collaborative environment where collectors can connect and have fun without attacking each other/malice.

Posts such as yours, while they may be innocently intended create hostility that have no place at HDN. 'Showing off' and other 'bragging' by anyone about multiple qty's etc etc, regardless who the member is and without any kind of favoritism will be deleted because it inadvertently ruins the atmosphere that myself and the other Staff of HDN, as well as our Section Supervisors foster here daily.

This type of occasional moderation (99% of posts are not deleted) is part of providing a healthy, moderated forum (we have no interest in subjecting any member to an escalated 'wild west' protracted shootout). Unlike other forums, we don't let the hostility go on and on, because other members subscribe to threads and are not interested in the negative environment it creates. Thanks for your understanding of the HDN community and for being a member here. Enjoy your collection!

Narnia and Underworld are both a must haves as far as japanese steels are concerned. I was hesitant about the crazy prices but once you have them in your hand they will be very difficult to give up. The slips are definitly what makes them stand out from the crowd.
