Well the answer to that is .... lots.
As some of you might know, I had spinal fusion surgery in July last year. Unfortunately the aftermath included a fair few side effects, huge amounts of pain, severe lack of sleep and having to learn to walk again. Chuck in a hefty bout of depression and I wasn't having a fun time.
Fast forward, and I have the joy of coming off my medication - cue withdrawal symptoms. Body wracked with pain, and other unpleasant things I won't mention here.
Before the operation I noticed pains in my face and chin. When the op happened and I was on painkillers, I forgot about it as it kind of faded into the background - still there but I was concentrating on other things.
Now coming off my medication, the pain has increased, and increased and continued increasing.
I've now been diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia - and no, it's not as fun as it sounds. Massive shocks of pain continuously through-out the day. Some lasting a few seconds, some a lot longer.
I'm really just wondering how much more I can take. I can't sleep - I've lost 2 stone in weight since late last year - I'm kind of a mess.
I've no idea where this post is going really. I guess it's just an outlet to rant/air my woes.
Not looking for sympathy posts, but just for people to understand if I get a little bit ratty in a post, I might not be feeling my best.
At least I can walk again now

. The nights are getting lighter so more time where you can see them
without needing a 40 LED bulbed head torch
