They even answered my e-mail within the hour.

DK-I cancelled my order when I saw the watch band, didn't look like the paint covered the whole band. But to each their own-the tin is still nice, and for fans, this may still be a collectible worth having.

Yes, but I'm quite content and won't open it anyway.

It is a very nice watch. It has no battery. It is a wind up watch. From the front you can see the clock insides and also around the back.

The watch strap also says "Hugo Cabrit" rather than "Hugo Cabret"? What's going on with this??
