something like that happened at my aunt's and uncles place a couple thanksgivings back. we were sitting down eating our turkey and all of a sudden we hear an explosion and a huge flash of sparks in their back yard (the power lines ran back there). then the power went out.

for a second i thought it was the 4th of july, not thanksgiving
