And its for things such as toddly6666's response and the great help I've had from several members, but particularly Pieter, why this site is just brilliant. So much help on offer from people.

Brilliant effort everyone.

BTW, I've never wanted to go to anywhere more than the Amish Food hall. I've no idea whats on offer but I bet its sensationally good.

You are gonna go into debt if you come here!

I haven't been to Phily in over 10 years, but when I used to go more often, the Amish food market was the highlight of the trip. Amazing food and awesome beards!

The closest Best Buy to you will be 3 miles away from you (2300 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard), but don't expect to find any Steelbooks there.

Also, I forgot to add the NYC store with the biggest selection of Blu-rays and DVDs with decent prices - you'll more likely find Steelbooks here:

J&R Music and Computer World

3 Park Row
New York, NY 10038
(across from City Hall Park)
Phone: 1-212-238-9000

Haha this is great guys, good thing is I might get to go to new York :D

No promises but the girl who won the trip last year got to go :D

There are 2 best buys with 10 miles of where I'm staying, one is only 6 miles and the other 10 so I will definately pay a visit to both

Congrats Joswin!
Maybe you can even make your way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and jog up the steps like Rocky and have someone videotape it for youtube.:D

Haha we don't get vanilla coke in the Uk, very annoying as it taste so good lol twizzlers I don't like so much, should have tried something different.

Any sweets any of you Guy recommend? I have a killer sweet tooth lol

Also I was shocked at how cheap Abercrombie and Fitch clothes are here, you pay £60 for 1 polo shirt in the uk, today I picked up 4 for $120 which is about £80, I was stunned.

Also found out today I'm going to a baseball game on Thursday :D Again all is paid for ;)

Still need a Philly cheese steak,
Should have one of them soon :)

Jake

Whenever I get over to the states I have a ritual of buying the following -

* Mountain Dew
* Mountain Dew Code Red
* MUG Root Beer/A & W Root Beer
* Hot Tamales
* Peanut Butter M&Ms!

With regards to the clothes, I'm guessing you haven't been over to the States before? It's surprising how much we get ripped off for clothes over here in the UK!

Idk if you guys have these in the UK but if you like Reese's try the Reese's "minis" (NOT the "miniatures"). You can get them in a small bag (about 15 to 20 "minis") at the checkout in a lot of stores for about $1 or you can find them in a large bag wherever the Reese's Pieces are. Stick them in the freezer for a few hours and they are really good:) that's really the only thing I can recommend... Most of the sweets I like we don't have here (Nestlie Smarties, Fazer chocolates)

i have a couple of times traded sweets from UK to US lol:hilarious:, but after that i found a website that sells all US sweet and crisps inside the UK.

p.s i always wanted to know what a Twinkie tasted like so i bought a box, ermmm i dont think i will ever again lol.

Had my first cheese steak today, was ok not as good as I was told it was.

But todays highlight was getting a free tour of the eagles football stadium and the phillies baseball stadium, private tour of both by the general manager, who gave me a free eagles jersey, phillies baseball, and front row tickets to today's baseball game :D

Heres some pics of the game I went to, unfortunately all the pics I took on the tour are on my camera not my phone so I can't put them up yet, but heres some pics of tonight's game I went to and the free stuff :D

Ps the jersey is massive, I'm not that fat lol, it's an extra large and I need medium lol but he game it to me wrapped up and I didn't try it until I got back to hotel so I can't change it :( lol

Been a good day
