Currently collecting Disney steels mostly, as I grew up with most of them (and others I loved like Tangled & WIR) I would like to have them in a special way as Steelbooks. Others are assorted movies which I really liked and I also have to like the art of the steel.
I'm trying my best to get only one version of each title, but have failed in some cases (3 versions of Tangled, WHAAAT?!?) but still trying my best

new to the game so currently trying to round off a nice start to a collection and pickup some of my favorite movies in steel or my favorite looking steels.

I have all the Nolan batman steels now, got my copy of the Evil Dead steel which is spectacular. will probably pickup other Marvel ones next, amazing spider man and possibly The Avengers althoguh not sure which Avengers still is the one to get. Most look the same and I guess the Canadian release is a Metalpak??

I was winning a auction on ebay for Inglorious Basterds German import steel but got outbid last minute. Wreck what are the must own steelbooks in your opinion for a new collector? Or ones that are available as of right now that will be really hard to come by your predicting?

Regarding your question about which Avengers to get - I had the UK steelbook, but didn't like the fact there was no title on the spine, so sold it and went for the Singapore VMB. It has a title on the spine, it's embossed, spot glossed, and also has a really cool full embossed slipcover. In my opinion the version to get, but in the end it's up to you which version you want.

As for Inglorious Basterds, I went for the Canadian version, which is glossy and has really nice debossing on it.

Right now, my focus is getting all the Disney steels I can get my hands on. Of course, the ones from Future Shop/Best Buy are the most difficult. But I'm slowly getting there.
