I was thinking that too but I'm pretty sure it's a matte finish. The last picture looks a lot duller than the other versions do.

I just compared Inception (MX/US/FS) back Vs. Inception (KR/JP). It is simply shocking to see how poor the latter looks due to matte finish.

Its a matte finish with some metallic shine to it. Kinda like the Alien wave from MM

Thanks for the pics, the German one does have a blue tinge to it and doesn't looks as good. For the price though its still not a bad buy.
