you can get it for $30 shipped on eBay...how much more good do you need? :hilarious: amazon.de is probably going to cost $35 shipped.

Err what? Receipt?

Maybe if you live in the US/Canada. But if you live elsewhere, that's not the case.

That is the cheapest one with the same cover you can find on Ebay if you're a non US/Canada buyer, setting the search to "Worldwide shipping". Unless you want to go with the fuglier cover of the cast standing around, then yeah, you can get it for about $25. But NHFT.

$54.03 shipped. Not bad but not good either. And $30? Even I didn't pay that much for the 2nd steel version from Amazon Japan.

At any rate, I don't see the problem with more variety and vendors to choose from. It means the popularity of Steelbook is increasing and more publisher are making them. More competitors also means cheaper prices. The only one who gets butthurt are the ones who want to charge ridiculous prices by buying many steelbooks earlier so they can sell them on eBay.

Straight toss up between this and the UK white version?

As a relative newb to steelbooks, getting this on original or indeed second release wasnt an option..

This one hands down.

This. And to stick it to those greedy Ebay-ers. Personally I'm collecting steelbook just for the form of it. Not because it's rare or anything like that. I don't care about that. The more the merrier.

I completely agree.

-30 dollars shipped? I don't live in the US, why do you assume that?
-Won't have to pay high shipping costs from amazon.de
-Won't have to pay import duties from amazon.de
-Amazon customer service and terms destroys ebay
-German release most likely to have subs from my country
etc...

;)

It is always nice but I hesitate between that and the Japanese edition

No one wants this surely. No market even for the original slipcover version. Warners, "change the record" and do something different.

Inception may be a good film and a "bankable" title but please get some other popular titles ones which have not been released on Steel released instead of these boring retreads.

I don't have this in a steelbook. Have the limited edition UK metal briefcase that was made for a smurf. :D

I have three choices. This, UK version or the Japanese. The latter being the most expensive option.

Is this a 2-disc Steelbok???

It seems all new releases like American History X, Inception, Sucker Punch etc are single discs. The new covers are beautiful. In Germany the retailer exclusive steels sometimes has different covers. In some cases it's good but with Inception the new Cover is ne best the could make. The Same to Sucker Punch. I got the first ones but i will buy the new releases :scat:

I wonder who's gonna buy dozens of these and try to sell them on eBay and fail. With all the other versions out there including the cheap Best Buy one, this one is not worth it IMO (unless it's your first Inception SB :p )

P.S. the Chinese one kills them all
