They changed the design of the original one early on.

The word "Inception" was printed on the original steelbook.

The main differences in the new edition should be:

1) Printed fsk logo.
2) No slip
3) No inside artwork (my guess)

9,97 defintely pretty much confirms for me what has been said above by andy, printed fsk, no slip and no inside art. just carnt see this been like the original at that price.

I must not have looked closely enough at my copy (still sealed).
I will be skipping this one for sure now. This makes me sad though because Sucker Punch re-release just dropped in price also which doesn't bode well for it to be like the original. :/

Good. Any re-release should be inferior. We paid good money to get the LIMITED edtion first release.

All these re-releases are intentionally taking advantage of the steelbook collector. Nothing more nothing less.

we stated this in the sucker punch re-release thread about the need to have a distinctive difference between an original release and a 2nd release.this is a must especially for collectors! this ensures the value of the item.as a steelbook collector,everyone knows that its not a cheap hobby to have
so...some of us here,order a few copies to offset the expenses of buying for our collection and in time reselling it when the demand rises so we can afford to add once again to our uncontrollable urges of attaining more steels
