shocked how bad this movie is. one of the worst sci-fi flicks of alltime, cancelled.

I cancelled this, tbh i saw it at the cinema and i thought it was ok but probably more a sh*t than ok. Wont be dropping £25 on this just because i have the first.
still no release date on steelbook page but on all other releases 4k,bluray, dvd is set for 14th nov on zavvi
just wish zavvi could be bothered to update steelbook page.

I think they must have just one guy responsible for the website, customer services, packing & shipping, arranging steelbook exclusives. It would explain a lot.

Well I can never be 100% sure as we've seen funny things go in with SB collecting. There is almost a pattern with Zavvi and you will just know what is likely going to happen. As with any pre-orders is there is a panic rush to get them. After a while people think twice and then decide to cancel then all come back in stock and you would wonder why you even worried in the first place. And then of course you can use the discount code at least! £2.40 makes a difference.
Even if it did sell out OOS, just say it did, then there are so many premium editions that are worth waiting for, Mantalab, FAC, Blufans.
So for me yes, worth waiting for the price drop and if it does not come back I will just buy one of the premiums or a 4KUHD aamray nexy year. Then try and find a cheap steel to put that inside. Who knows, by then there maybe even be a ID4 Resurgent 4K on steelbook by then (except the German writing one).
Just to add if you are desperate to watch the movie, then just ignore the above, you have been Zavvied then lol

I didn't think it would be worth it and from what everyone has said I saved myself pretty much a Zavvi steelbook. Which do you say is better, Battleships or ID4 Resurgent? Or...they both just as bad?Could anything be as bad as Battleships? Haven't seen ID4 Resurgent because so many people whom I know said it was utter pants. If it's worse than Battleships then it really is a turkey. Maybe they should release it on Thanksgiving Day?

They are both as bad as each other, Trust me mate ID4R is not worth your time if you loved the original like me.
The best part was
the end fight with the big momma alien but even then its ruined with the cheesy line that ends the movie which basically says "Hey we are going to franchise the crap outta this", the acting was terrible allround other than Goldblum who is always awesome
Im usualy the kind of guy that says "watch it and judge for yourself" but i dont think anyone should see this steaming pile of alien poop.
