A member on another site emailed Zavvi bout these and this is the reply they got-
The response was that zavvi can not get the indiana jones steelbooks as their suppliers are unable to provide it. They then cancelled my order as well.

When queried why, they advised that they will be removing these from their website.

Can somebody explain to me what the hell is going on with this release. Some people say that this was online couple of weeks ago, but I never so that to happen and I have added the link as bookmark on my bookmark bar, and I was checking it every day since day it was announce by Wreck.

Was this thing live at some point or not?

As far as I'm aware, KotCS was never live unlike the other three. Annoyingly now I keep getting emails from Zavvi apologizing for the delay on the other three Indy's but no solid indication as to a new release date. Wonder if I'll keep getting these emails until the September date that they said might be the new release?!

I nominate all these Steelbooks to be the new Holy Grails of Blu-ray Steelbook. Not in terms of the new "FutureShop Iron Man", but as the actual grail which is just a myth :bow:

I still think that these will come out on sept 30th, and the remaining stock will be up for sale either after the release through Zavvi, or on the zavvi eBay outlet... there has been nothing which has occurred that would suggest a delay in the release again except for the fact that the rest of the stock is not yet up for sale... I'm sure these will happen sooner or later

The reason why I closed the release threads for the moment is:
- those 4 Indy's "should" get released, but instead of creating false hype in the release threads, I prefered to keep a general discussion in here
- when should they release? hard to know...
- soon? harder to know...

So, it may not be the best answer, but at least, I can tell you that we at HDN are following those release really closely and as soon as we know more, don't you worry, you'll hear here first!

So don't get me wrong, but when you say these 4 movies "should" get released but you don't even think this will be "soon" it sounds like "well.. we wanted to release but something happens and now this project is on ice".
