I'm severely disappointed with the chosen artwork, int. and ext. To have a bootleg-ish looking cover that only shows one of the actors, and then to have an interior that will show only the same one actor again when the discs cover the other up, it's just a mess of poor choices. And then my biggest wish of seeing the two main actors from part two, who also had cameo roles in the other movies, not being displayed in any of the images really lets me down.

Sadly, Kimchi missed the ball on this completely, imo. At $100 per copy (including shipping) for a trilogy that I already own in a nice dvd set, this has to be a pass for me =(

I'm also really disappointed in the choice of artwork. Kimchi could've chosen Artwork #3 but instead chose Andy Lau (probably due to his current popularity). I'll be skipping this and looking at picking up a regular Blu-ray set of the trilogy.

He's talking about the regular price and you're looking at the promo price.So it all depends on how you see it.Both sides have a point.

Yeah I'm sticking with my standard blu rays, the artwork is just terrible. I really can't warrant spending £50 on this which if customs get me could be nearer £70. I would have double dipped if they had gone with 1 or 3, but 2 is a massive no no.

I am looking forward for this steelbook. I watched the first movie and really enjoy it. Hopefully they will include English subtitle. Maybe they can reduce the print run to 500. I am sure it will be sold out in no time. People who don't order will hate themselves. Similar case with Blufans-Let the bullets fly. I didn't like the movie when I watched it at the theatre but I still want the steelbook.

Erm no I won't hate myself, limited print runs are meaningless to me if the art is bad.

You want a steelbook of a film you didn't enjoy lol? Sorry I'll stick to buying steelbooks of films I love providing the art is good

I was just looking at my old HK boxset release of the Trilogy and saw the awesome art that I wish they would have used for this release. If they can make this the lenticular I would be so happy.

The black one is the boxset's art, but it is too dark in this scanned image. In real life it is a nice metallic foil finish so the artwork actually acts as a mirror.

They can just make the bullet holes move around in 3D space if they use this for the lenticular.
This artwork actually works for the trilogy because it has all the major characters from all 3 films.

I loved the first 2 films so I really want this KimchiDVD release to do it justice.

It was updated in one of the threads by a member who asked Kimchi on facebook and they said that this and Perfume were the next two to go live and would be some time in June, but since then Snowpiercee has become the next edition to go live so not sure how up to date that info is anymore... At the top of this page Choi posted this is in production (on 24th April), so i would expect some time this month... Hooefully with a nice break in between each releases pre order dates
