I don't understand. Before it was talks from a lot of people saying, "I just hope they don't make two versions of each" meaning that they were prepared to buy one steel for each movie which would've been way more money than the $74. I agree, $74 is a lot for one steelbook, but not that ridiculous for a trilogy steelbook. This will be a Kimchi Exclusive and the first of theirs to be a trilogy. Any of you contemplating the Godfather Trilogy from Blufans? Going to be a few dollars more than Kimchi is asking. When it comes down to it, of course, you're either going to pay it or you're not...but my argument is for the people who went from saying there better only be one of each to saying that they wouldn't spend the $74 on the single trilogy steelbook. I personally would rather have just the one steelbook versus the three separates.

*Just to clarify, this message isn't to bash anyone for their beliefs or opinions. Just to make you guys think a little bit. And again, it isn't directed towards everyone. Just a few that I've seen that have flip flopped their opinions.*

I for one would happily pay the $74 for this trilogy steelbook because I know as a kimchi exclusive, it will be a quality release. And if they're asking for that kind of money, there is probably a good reason for it.

I do agree with that 100%. I would've liked to have seen a different trilogy, but I haven't even seen this one yet so I may be speaking too soon on that...

this is the only kimchi title im really interested in so far. i have no need for anonther re-released hollywood blockbuster and this is actually one of the biggest hits from asian cinema so i gues chances are low we will see any other asian movies soon then aswell. i'm really sad when i look at the poll

btw: i actually just bought the departed steelbook just to show people how bad it is next to the original infernal affairs...

I think its clear most of us would LOVE these in steel with the KimchiDVD treatment, but the price is something which is really holding it back, which is why the poll is well into the no...

If it was a more reasonable price then i think most would vote yes

I can't believe I'm about to do this but... I will try to defend Kimchi on this one .

It's true $74 is too expensive, but have you guys thought that maybe Choi is giving us the list price here? Technically, the Tangled steelbook is worth $60, but most of us got it at $44.99 (first 5 days), and when you buy it on Kimchi now it's $49.99. It's labelled "our price", and below it says "You save: $10.01".

It's like what Zavvi always does, saying we save £5 on Thor even though it's never going to be priced at £29.99.

My point is, maybe $73.99 is the list price, the actual price will be something like $63.99, and perhaps like every other Kimchi exclusive so far, they will let us buy that steelbook for $59-60 during the first 5 days of pre-order .

Choi, am I right on that ? If so, then the poll should be deleted in light of that crucial $14-15 difference.

$60 ($70 with shipping) for a trilogy in steelbook isn't way too expensive imo.
