I'm sure like many of you, I have had to become creative when it comes to receiving packages for group buys or trades from other members on this forum.

A Christmas or two ago, my mother-in-law bought me an EXTRA large US Postal Service approved mailbox.

It now comes in very handy when I get a bigger box from amazon germany or even packages for my wife can easily fit in.

Have you gotten a bigger mailbox or do something different to make sure that your steelbooks arrive safely?

Chime in with your solutions and pictures!

Here's a picture of my mailbox. There are a couple packages in there that shipped out yesterday... :scat:

I must admit I wasn't a steelbook collector when we moved into our house - the letter box is at ground level, small and thin, thick metallic door and is one of those ones that snaps shut - just perfect for denting any unsuspecting (Play.com) steelbook that doesn't make it all the way through! :hilarious:
I don't care. All my steelbooks come in cardboard boxes. It will never fit. :p

When I buy a house, I'll def get a big mailbox installed. But I transferred for a promotion to a town that I wouldn't buy a house in even if it was Buy 1 get 1 free. ;p

My postman can be quite good at times, any package that can't fit through my letterbox he'll leave in the electric cupboard at the side of my house. Now in the UK all the electric cupboards are locked by a key which is the same for everyone, so its always nice and safe in there, because after all who is going to look in there?

We've gotten a couple of comments from our mail person about how nice it is and he wised everyone had a box that big. :hilarious: :naughty:
I am a rural mail carrier and those are by far the best boxes. I don't think people realize how time consuming the job can be if you are constantly getting in and out of your truck.
