Hey,

I thought I will open a poll because many users are complaining about missing inside artworks on recent steelbook releases. So we can vote here if it is important or not and maybe some publishers will notice this or a member with good connections can give this to them;)

Its NICE to have decent inside artwork - not bothered either way.

The Front + spine is the main priority for me seen as thats what everyone will be looking at in my home :p

I think it should be included with every steelbook. It doesn't take that much extra work to do it. However, it's not an issue for me, as I don't sit froth over the inside of the steel. I don't display them open.

As I open all my steelbooks it's important to me personally, it's seems they've made the extra effort especially if the inside artwork is well done.

That doesn't mean I won't buy a steelbook without it just that I really prefer steelbooks to have inside art.

I think it's nice to have an inside artwork, makes the Steelbook more appealing to the eyes and values it to some extent, doesn't it? And, even if you keep it sealed, the fact that you know it has an inside artwork makes all the difference.

I got my Terminator from Play because it has inside artwork. I want Batman Begins from Canada because it has inside artwork (mine is Best Buy). I think the only one I have without artwork is Sherlock Holmes. Not that I will pass it on, but it'd be much more worshipped if it had, lol.

lets look at this objectively. What makes a SB (IP, MB ect) different than a regular plastic case? I can think of 2 things.

1) One is made of plastic, the other, metal.
2) Steels have INSIDE ARTWORK, plastics do not.

As far as I'm concerned, if it's missing inside artwork, it's half assed. (my classification lol). I keep most of my steels sealed too, you'd think that I wouldn't be bothered, but thats not the point. The point (for me) is if you're gonna charge me a premium for metal packaging, and did a half assed job on putting the effort on your premium packaging, you do not deserve my money. It all depends on how you look at it. I hold people accountable for their actions. Luckily, I'm an FS guy, and such titles with no inside artwork are not know to exists (like bigfoot). German titles are horrible offenders in this regard. Quantity over quality is the motto for them for sure.

It is a bit of a let down when there is only silver on the inside, makes it look very ugly. How hard is it to put some pictures inside?

I chose the first option. I have steels without inside artwork of course, but I'd prefer every release had. If I have the choice, I'll definitely choose the one with inside artwork.

Yes, it is!
Didn't influence if i will buy it or not, but whitout inside artwork, the steelbook looks incomplete for me.

It can be fantastic. I really like the Forest Gump inside artwork, on one side it has a birds eye view of a box of chocolates. It made me laugh coz I really wasn't expecting it. Pick it up for a tenner on Play if you haven't already, totally worth it :)

I like to see artwork inside so have started printing my own and putting it in.

I don't own a single steel without inside art. If they're gonna charge a premium, I want a premium. Hell even a lot of DVDs had/have inside artwork, there's no excuse for steels!

Haha nice signature.

Inside artwork is the reason I avoided uk and de releases for a long time. I think they've gotten better about it though yeah?

I too find the Steelbook without the inside artwork as incomplete. I will still buy it but will add my own artwork. Has anyone added inside artwork to Ironpacks ? Is it as easy as doing them in the Steelbooks ? I purchased 4 or 5 Ironpacks off of Ebay ( they were listed as Steelbooks ) THx
