Always interested to see films that are up for alot of awards, and seeing as I dont have enough money to do cinema because of steelbook collecting, this sort of things suits me fine :oohyeah:

I so hope that the French steelbook won't be the same as this one, and that it will use the gorgeous sepia poster for their front cover, instead of changing the color of the title into some red, and colorizing Oscar Isaac character. The sepia might have been wonderful, and I hope that the French one will do some good use of it.

Judging by the upside down spine I'd say this is Studio Canal's mock up of the French steelbook. The UK one is likely to be the same, but with a right way up spine, but they haven't bothered to produce a separate mock up.

Probably go for this...gonna try see it in the next couple of weeks. Die-hard Coen fan so probably will end up getting this...unless it's £20 (which it probably will be), or there's a retailer exclusive (not seen the film yet but wouldn't a digibook work better?)

Seen the trailer for this a couple of times at the cinema...... won't be one I'll be wanting to watch

Pass as it will certainly be silver. Saving money in every way possible with the lack of finish, black and white inside art, and removal of color from the poster image.

How can you tell what finish it has from the mockup? Please share you secret! :notworthy:

We are just speculating based on Pines because the mockup looks a similar colour and is a Studiocanal steelbook.

I keep misreading the title as Llewellyn

You have no idea how great it is to know I haven't been the only one. I've even been miscorrecting people too and now they're all also saying "Llewellyn". I haven't gotten around to telling them that they were actually right though...

I haven't seen this yet and if it weren't for the Coen's, I'd probably give it a skip. I have this odd relationship with folk music...
