[InterestCheck] Marvel Super Heroes Pack - Phase 1 and 2 - Exclusive - (Blu-ray) [India]

@himanshu is in talks with Sony DADC India for releasing Marvel Super Heroes Pack exclusively in India with improved quality and additional goodies.
This will be be official release. And it will be released in India only.

Current Pack includes following movies :
IM1, IM2 and IM3
CA1 and CA2
Thor1 and Thor2
Avengers

- If enough interest is there, it can be released with some additional goodies as an Exclusive with extremely limited print run.
- Please take a poll and show your interest. Poll will be closed in first week of March.
- If enough interest is there, A Group Buy will be held here. After that, same old, same old GB drill.
- Any and all updates will be shared here first.

- Incredible Hulk movie will be added in this pack. (Confirmed)
- Guardians of the Galaxy movie will be added in this pack. (Confirmed)

What exactly do you mean by saying "Incredible Hulk will be added in this pack"? Do you mean that the movie will be added (what's wierd since TIH is part of the MCU Phase 1, so it should be nothing special for it to be part of this), or will there be a statue of him in it?
Lenticular character-cards would be great, but i'm missing something really "collectable" right there.. probably because i'm more into CE's with statues?

Yes, TIH 'movie' can be added in this pack.

The Incredible Hulk blu-ray rights in India are with 'Reliance Entertainment', and all other MCU blu-ray rights are with Sony DADC India. So that's why it was not included in existing pack.

And from what I know, and from what I can share as of now, TIH can now be included in this new and exclusive pack for India, officially, thanks to some behind the scene agreements and arrangements. But again, Releasing only movies in one pack is not that great idea if collector's perspective is taken into consideration. So with whatever limited and pre-approved resources in hand, extra goodies would be added as well. Some new stuff, if added, will be approved first as well.

Plan is to release this as an exclusive and numbered edition. But all this can happen if and only if there is good amount of interest noticed behind it.

In case of packing and goodies -> it can will be nice if it will look like The Dark Knight Trilogy set

I agree with this. I think any additional art cards or posters or other goodies aren't as important as the packaging itself. It's all about the presentation. Here's what I believe should be the priority when releasing this:

- Sturdy, high quality box. Not just paper, at least thick cardboard, but it would be best if it was some kind of wooden or acrylic box. Some examples of boxsets done right:

- The artwork/design. If possible, use this opportunity to make something special. Don't just slap on all the characters with a barely adequate photoshop work. Also, less is often more, especially when it comes to exclusive, limited editions. Sometimes the title and some elegant two-tone artwork are more than enough. The above ones I posted, as well as the Dark Knight Trilogy box set a couple of posts back, are a nice example. Here are a few more off the top of my head:

@crossbow Thanks Himashu just told me last night. If this turns out to be good I'm definitely interested. Especially now with Hulk. It'd a complete Phase 1.
And please make sure NOT to write "Avengers Assemble" on the box. I absolutely hate it, and I think most people do as well.

Quality box is definitely the most important aspect. As for 3D; it doesn't matter to me since none of the Marvel movies were ever filmed in 3D, they were all converted post-production. You could always let your TV do the processing with 2D discs Most TVs have 3D depth controls. Not much of a difference, at least for me.

i think all the collective feedback can make this product bomb collectible!

I already have all these film many times over, including the best steelbooks and slips for each films available.

From what I see, it doesn't look worth it for me to buy this. It would be good for someone who doesn't own all these films on Blu ray already and/or doesn't open their steels, but either way I don't see w big enough draw here to blow a wad

I agree, 3 D is no use to me cause I have wonky eyes ( I was born with them, not from looking at too much porn!)
But I agree you need great packaging for this set, not some easily damaged cardboard box.

I'm not at all good with photoshop, but I'll try to do some mock-ups and post them here.
