This isn't addressed to me so I don't even know why I'm writing, I guess because I'm complaining about the editing of the OP hours before the original live time. I'm not moaning about missing this anymore, water under the bridge, and I could get one right now if I wanted to... This situation shouldn't really happen again. It's not that hard to police it. HDN should be looking out for its members not HDZeta. If HDZeta wanted to change the rules so late in the game maybe it would have been better to cancel the GB? Not the easiest choice to make, I get it, but maybe the best in the long run; as members we'd feel HDN was looking out for only good info being posted about crucial things like live times.
It is a completely different situation when there are no live times set days in advance. No info is better than bad info, and that is HDNs responsibility IMHO. And if it happens, like it has, maybe steps should be taken so it's unlikely that it'll happen again and its members aren't jerked around by HDZeta.

For very limited editons the rule is keep checking the thread day in day out. If it’s not hard to ‘police it’ it’s not hard to log on every hour or so. You got a smart phone? Make use of it!
Not like it’s anyones business of what I do in my life, I got up very early in the morning like 6am, checked HDN as always for the GBs.
Then had my breakfast.
Checked again. Nope nothing.
So while doing my usual stuff in the morning while had a quick break checked again then realised the GB time had changed.
I knew I would NOT be available at home as I have take my children to their Saturdays class and then go the gym and then pick them up all between the GB times slots.
So while in the Gym had to check my phone in between reps on resistance training. Looked like an idiot for doing so but it’s not like I had much choice lol.
Then while driving to pick up the kids whilst the car was stationary on a red light I checked again.
Now normally I go shopping for groceries before picking up the kids but I don’t get signal inside the store. So I drove to where kids classes were an hour before and sat in the car until the GB went live and luckily bagged one.
So you see the hassle I had to go through?
Don't get me wrong, I am pretty chilled and fully accept when I miss out on releases just through not being quick enough or website issues or whatever else, but when I completely miss it due to the goalposts being moved shortly before the actual go live time, then that's what annoys me. I can live without the release and am happy for those that got one. Hope everyone that did enjoys it.
On a post earlier in the thread explaining it @apsmith21 said the following "FYI - HDZeta does not set the live times. HDN does. We have our own schedules to worry about. Working and other items come up and we can't be online when their schedule dictates."
If that's the case, when wxlinkswd came on here on Tuesday and posted "Update: Pre-order at 5th May AM:10:00 EST USA, GB at same time. Shipping date at 8th May." then a mod should have come on and said the GB won't necessarily be at this time as wxlinkswd doesn't set the GB times for HDN.
If that was done, then all would be well but it was accepted that this was the go live time.
Anyway, I won't post again on this as it won't change anything. Just putting out there that having it change so close to the previously accepted time isn't good and opens everyone involved up to upset members venting their frustrations at them.

Pre Orders when live will show up on their website homepage usually at the top under featured products
The listing will vanish when sold out
I never looked at Gold or Silver series sections on the website
It vanished from my cart though when I went to click payment

For me it did (can't comment on other new releases or how it usually works on HDZeta). I checked the Gold Label section as well (foolish me
), then proceeded to the home page. It showed up there as the second or third release under the large banner at one point.Cool. Thanks for the info. I'll stick to the homepage next time.
We used to have purchase links added to OP for HDzeta pre orders
It would help members if Hdzeta Website purchase links was listed in the OP before going live
If you look at lot of HDzeta releases in past 12 months there is a lot of the threads with only the GB link and no HDzeta website link

Fyi, there wasn't a purchase link available until the product actually went live lol. And no real use adding one now as the link is dead and product SOLD OUT.
Have a look at the other HDzeta thread releases recently there is no HDzeta purchase links even with some releases still available
It's just a GB link in most Hdzeta threads or no links at all
Purchase links can be provided in advance before actually going live all it takes is they be provided
Where do you think Zavvi pre order links come from even though they not live or listed yet officially on Zavvi until going live
Sometimes these come back available on HDzeta website after cancellations and payment issues so having the website link in OP would help

Communications between HDN and HDZETA seem to be at an all time low though.
Does there be HDZETA GB's over at the other site? I've never checked.

Especially if they're still in-stock, that should be mandatory. I was commenting on Interstellar specifically being as there was no purchase link given or made available to us before it actually went live. You had to physically be on the main page and refresh to find it. I highly doubt this will come back but feel free to add a p/link if you wish (you're a Contributor yourself with added privileges, so you can personally edit and add purchase links to each and every HDzeta thread if you wish buddy 
).That’s an issue for HDZeta to sort, not HDNs issue. They know the product page and can share it before the pre-order. They choose not to do so.
Yup, another website and also on Facebook. They go live much much sooner than ours with seemingly unlimited quantity and as always it’s HDN that gets shafted. Doesn’t matter that it was HDN who were here first and allowed all the free advertising for HDZeta and have been very supportive of HDZeta since day one........

The representatives for this group were neither online or present at the time.
I had a very important appointment to go to. Could not miss it. Arrived moments late and got a lot of hell for it.
So I am sorry that people rely on a time that is not set by staff and that we indeed have life outside of group buy live times that have to be
attended to that gets in the way.
I have asked over and over again to HDZeta representatives to be informed of go live times when they are announced. They do that for a time or two and then it doesn't happen. They just pick a random day and time.
I personally tried to contact the folks responsible for this listing DAYS ago, when I FINALLY saw this was supposed to happen, in advance. No response to any of my inquiries. Other people that are on this board also tried. Nothing on their end as well.
Not sure what you expect us to do - no one from their end is answering your questions, helping you determine if your payment went through OK, working with you to make sure your experience with their product is excellent...
And yet a lot of HDN folks are getting an awful lot of hate on this board.
Honestly, it really just breaks my heart to see how we've devolved into this circular discussion on this forum. Really, really sad.
