I'm guilty of doing that. The items were not live on the website at the time of the HDN GB's. I didn't want to risk not having a copy so I was one of the early posts in the thread. Once the items eventually went live on the website I modified my post on the GB thread for the Lenti & Full slip as I noticed they hadn't been closed yet, so I assumed my spots would easily be taken by others seeking a copy - no big deal.

Worst case scenario, if the host feels as if i've committed a sin and decides that my punishment is banning me from his future GB's. I'll pay him for a copy of the lenti & full slip.

I was in an identical situation, but I made a choice. "cant have your cake and eat it" came to mind. I did cross my mind striking off the GB, but it didn't sit right with me.

You haven't committed a sin, but you and many have gone against the rules. If people have done so and don't get banned from further GB's, then it kind of makes a mockery of the whole point of making the rules in the first place and sets a precedent for further GB's in the future.

By my count it appears that one Taiwanese individual has claimed around 9 each of the Lenticular, Full slip and 1/2 slip and 3 box sets just for Interstellar.
That's around 30 copies for eBay.

I respect your honesty and I do understand why you did it. We were informed both went live at the same time, got both sites crashing/not displaying product and we were left in a panic, such as if HDZeta's site had sold out etc. It coming on an hour later means all of a sudden you can order direct and cheaper.

In all fairness do you really think these companies will turn down hard earned cash from people that want more than the set amount per customer all because it isn't fair to people ?

Lol ... any one running a business like that will be bankrupt tomorrow.

They just have these rules of 1 copy per member to create 'hype' around the product and make it more lucrative. Let's be honest.

I just saw this interstellar go up for order and i can't order one cause HDzeta do not ship to Malta.... How can i get my hands on one please?

Cheers, but let's see what the host says. The last time I tried listing a thread on here trying to list some steelbooks I had to wait ages for approval so no thanks. Takes 30 secs to make a listing on ebay.

If you get in touch with the GB host and the request is understandable, there shouldn't be a problem. When Casino Royale was announced I jumped on Merowinger's Group Buy From Germany (because I love that movie)...2 hours later it was announced for Best Buy right here in the U.S. I PM-ed him and asked if I could drop out (since it was only 2 hours since I signed up!) and he had a laugh and said "sure".

i personally was always going to get it from HDZeta website as one of my earlier posts said.
It didn't open there so put my name down here.
Then after a hour did open so I put my order edited my post here
The reason and only reason I did that so it would give a member here a copy who wouldn't have got one
I could have not done that and kept that copy , sold it to pay for other one or kept 2
I thought the GB hosts worked for Zeta so wouldn't make any difference
I am fine being told got to keep that post and take a copy
But I will offer it at cost to number 201 or 251 on the list
Whatever the number limit.
