After over a month wondering if my Kimchi Ironman order went into the abyss, I finally got an update from the post office..whew! I'm near San Francisco, California, so it should arrive to me soon :)

That's excellent news [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106] my tracking code has expired so I can't check anymore sadly but still nothing on Royal Mail in the uk oh well at least it's on it's way to ya happy days enjoy

Well the saga continues!

Still no IM or any letter from BF! Sent Tony 3 more emails asking for an update and explained I haven't had any BF letter, so can only assume mine is lost and could he look into this for me :(

Don't want to go down paypal dispute route, would even take store credit as I want POTA Lenticular. Will give it another week as I think that is more than fair. Hopefully other's who have had letters will have some sort of contact by then.

^ Same here :( Guardians of the Galaxy arrived fine, and Thor previously.. why not these? Also waitign on Captain America WS from Kimchi... sigh...

I've not had any post, call or email at all today. Will post when I do. Have no prior experience as to how long these guys take to reply to victims.
Border Force's complaints department 'aims' to reply within 20 working days... hopefully Border Force's reply to being challenged comes quicker, but I'm not holding out much hope that it will be.

Still nothing here, no Iron Man and no letter from Border Force, I did receive Dallas Buyers Club yesterday, took around 9 days to arrive from despatch so all those saying its the time of year for the IM delay should think again.

Received this from Tony this morning

We have attached the document received from our publisher UEK.

If it is not allowed, please resend to us for the items.

We will make refund it to you.

Sorry about it.

We cant understand for your country customs actions.

Tony

EDIT: TONY JUST SENT ME A FULL REFUND, I have just emailed him to say if it does turn up I will remake payment, this is NOT Tony's OR Kimchi's fault

Tony has just sent me a refund for my damaged steelbook including the postage I paid to ship it back to him

I checked the tracking and it arrived back on the 30th December. I'm happy with the relatively quick action after the Christmas/New Year holidays.

Good to see people getting refunds, but this really sucks for Tony/Kimchi as they didn't do anything wrong and Tony supplied what was asked of him.
I'd have thought that assuming Border Force realize that they were in fact genuine goods (if they've destroyed people's copies in the meanwhile) after investigation, that Tony/KimchiDVD could then make a claim against BF for the full cost of the goods, so Tony shouldn't be left out of pocket in the long run.

At first, Kimchi has to produce all the required documentation. If they don't then UKBF will eventually destroy the parcels and won't entertain any claims.

It really sucks for anyone who didn't/hasn't received their copy yet because of customs issues. Seems like Tony & Kimchi are doing what they can to make things right despite this being out of their hands? That's encouraging

Yes he can, and possibly sue them, as BF in the UK are accoubtable and they have erroneously messed with his business, but that's a lengthy process and meantime customers end empty handed.

Hopefully no news is good news, Tony supplied the relevant documentation. But it will take time for the relevant parties to approve it all. [emoji3]

The time of year does play a major factor, a 9 day delivery was luck. Thousands of packages at present are sitting in port offices with a 2 month backlog and not enough staff to sort through it all.

Add to that the amount of packages that just vanish over the Christmas period and it amounts to 1000's here in the UK.

IM was one of the top 3 wants of the year. Posting these in December was just suicide. Blufans were smart and held back till now to start posting.

First they have to simply respond to someone's challenge to their Steelbook destruction. Then we can find out what they need to know/put them in contact with Tony in the event that they have not received what they need. As of yet I'm still waiting for any contact from BF.

I take no news is good news for those who recived letter from BF.

i the future we should try do same order value as:
1 steelbook=7$
2 Steelbooks 14$
3 steelbooks 21$

If majority will have same value on invoices that will not look so odd. Just thinking.

You realise that Tony is breaking the law by declaring anything other than the true value on customs documentation? And that HMRC/Border Force can levy VAT on their perceived value of the goods, if they believe the declared value to be false?
