I thought all the quality control issues were bad enough, I'm really disappointed with this release but some of us still got our copies. I really feel for anyone in the UK that has had to endure this horrible Border Force predicament. I hope BF get proven fully wrong with the proof from Kimchidvd showing they are genuine products.
 
Anyone got any secret tip to evoke a response from Tony?
I got no response from him until I opened a Paypal claim. I know it's bad for Tony, but if he doesn't response, then he can't blame you for doing that. Also, if everything works out after he replied, you can close the case. I just don't know if it has passed 45 days yet to open the case.

It's now 180 days with PayPal leaving plenty of time to wait before you need to open a case
 
Just a thought, those of you who don't get many of your steels direct from Kimchi compared to those that do, how quickly did Tony respond to you?

I purchased most of my Kimchi collection direct and only got a few from other sources (traders, kind Ninjas and Ebay) and my response from Tony was pretty quick every time I emailed him and my refund for Iron Man was the same.

I still to this day have no letter from Border Force and no steels from Kimchi for this release so who knows what has happened to mine, do BF have them or are they genuinely lost in the post? I have no idea, all I do know is that Tony gave me a full refund and I have given him my word I will repay him when/ if they ever arrive.

It is also very noticeable that Kimchi do not have any more 'Exclusives' (apart from POTA, which is getting delayed more and more) listed for the foreseeable future, why is this do we think?

I know, suddenly announcements for new exclusive have dried up. I wonder if there was a problem with the copyright agreement in some unforseen way.
 
Emailed again. This is the problem with one man business model. One day something is going to seriously wrong and customers are going to be put in trouble.

I got the Lenticular from here for double the price but I think it is worth it. Ghr Lenticular effect is stunning.

I believe its 180 days now, no longer just 45 days. I may well be wrong, it has happened, once, April 17th 2009.
 
Well still nothing here (No Bf letter or steels)

Tony did ask in his last email to wait a little longer, but unsure how long to wait.

I might give it until last week in the month and then send him an email asking what's going on.

Border Force's complaints team say they aim to reply within 20 working days, as no one has heard anything back so far I'm thinking it may be the same for the people that handle disputes, in which case I'd have to wait until 27th Jan as mine got there on 30th December.

I've got close to 50 orders from Kimchi (all their exclusive steels and the non-exclusive versions when available) over the last couple years and my emails have fallen on deaf ears. I'm trying to get a refund back on a missing Edge of Tomorrow steelbook that's not shown up in 3 months. His last email was right around the beginning of the Iron Man delay (so it was close to 2 months late by then) and his response was to give it more time. My tracking shows it never left Korea. Doesn't even have it leaving the Post Office and making it to the airport. Now I'm not getting any reponse

I'm sorry but that is not acceptable! You need to file a dispute with paypal asap! 3 MONTHS!!

You get 180 days to open a dispute, regardless if your US based or UK. It use to be 45 days but it changed.

nope not for payments in 2014 , you cant Change a rule and have it reflect "past tense" that is why when they Change them they have to give a notice and tell you which date in the future it will start .

For instance in Switzerland this 180 day policy does not start until end of January 2015 where as the most started with the new year 2015.

I'm in the same boat! Filed a PayPal dispute a few days ago however PayPal closed it with no resolution as it's long past the 45 day mark. Have emailed Tony, Bruce, & Ulalaya, however have heard nothing back from any of them. The tracking info shows my items status as "Arrival at inward office of exchange" at USORDA, and have been since Dec. 5th.

With nobody answering my several emails to Kimchi I have come to the conclusion that I will never purchase another item from them again. The horrendous customer service just isn't worth it. Tony is well aware of this forum and should have the decency to create an account, or if he doesn't have the time, contact the right people here to communicate with everyone regarding the issues with this Steelbook.
 
I love the way BF get 20 days to respond or whenever they feel like it but kindly gave everybody around 3 days to get a recorded letter to them over the period between Xmas and New Year! It's no wonder our government and their services get such a good rep, respond in a ridiculous timeframe or we'll destroy all of your possessions without even bothering to do our job.
 
Been following this thread very sorry to hear you guys possibly loosing out there not doing themselves any favours by not responding to people, there's not that many collectors of this niche market of steels let alone Asian steels so they should be kissing peoples asses no customers no business

This problem really needs to get looked at properly and dealt with in the proper manner as they are becoming a headache. Whereas they should be dealing with crimes not steelbooks to all the ninjas out their with this issue ongoing i wish you all the best of luck and hope it gets resolved for you in the best way...
