You have to check your Kimchidvd account and look, if the order is there.

Just got a email from tony-

Sorry dave.

You order is not completed until last step.

And the Iron Man has been sold out already as you know.

We will check the cancellation order and let you know later.

Sorry for your inconvenience.

Tony

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully there will be some cancellations, although the chances are minimal.

Best wishes,

I still haven't heard back from Tony. I had a different problem in that I got charged twice. The site timed out when I was making the payment and I didn't get confirmation, so I went back and paid again. But I have 2 charges on the credit card.

If I don't get a reply from Tony looks like I'll have to cancel, being stung by Royal Mail is the last thing I want.

Try sending another e-mail, using another e-mail account, maybe the other one went to spam mail or Tony has a lot of mail to sort through. The custom charges will be far less than buying off ebay and other collectors, you may still escape charges even if your chances are less on EMS, some Ninjas still get charged on K-Packet as well, depends on where you live in the UK.

i forgot to change customs charges before i placed order but i sent an email off to tony the same day asking if it could be changed to $19 and i got a reply the next day saying they had done it, but even if they didn't the customs charges wouldn't that much

My kimchi DOFP got caught at customs. Even though it was an extra £18, it's still alot less than getting it off eBay, so there is no way I would cancel.

Thanks man. Tony replied today said it had been done so hopefully $20 should do it. I was probably being way over dramatic about the charges, I just really want this Steelbook and have cancelled tons of Zavvi pre-orders to save some dough. Trying to kick the habit with buying anything because it's a Steelbook :)

@serjitank Trust me I'm sure they're a few people in the US that were able to get a hold of 5+ amount. By mid Dec the site will be flooded with these. And the sad thing is people are getting desperate and have to buy it right now. With so many out there the price will drop eventually. No need to rush.

I got lucky getting my order in just under 8mins. With a wireless laptop and shady wifi I was able to pull in just 1 lenti. Tried for 2 but the site crashed.

I gave up on kimchi, won't bother trying to order from them again and asked them to delete my account details. When this is already listed on ebay for £150 it's quite insulting...

Thinking about how well group buys such as HTTYD and Gladiator have been dealt with I don't see why Kimchidvd couldn't offer some copies of each title to HDN as a group buy, one copy per person.
