I don't care with any release what the print run is
It make no difference to me if a release is limited to 100 or 100,000
I also don't care if any steelbook gets a re release

I purchase a steelbook as its a release I want and that's all that matters and if it happens to be limited its not a factor as it will still be in my collection going nowhere

There is lots of releases collectors miss out on so if other retailers gets stock then of a release but just missing some sticker and numbered card its means a collector can still get a steelbook

I did this with Leon steelbook from Korea and was very happy

Listen & Learn ladies & Gents. This guy right here^ @paulboland IS A TRUE COLLECTOR!

If you really have a passion for this hobby, it's not all about Dollars & Cents. You don't think like a scalper. You just enjoy these amazing editions.

If they re release the Lenti somewhere else, let me know cause ill buy one so I don't have to open my kimchi

sorry. i mean i luh joo guys and urrything but i think when companies make sales based specifically on exclusivity and therefore supposedly calculated rarity, collectors who buy into that concept have every right (and are fully warranted) to feel cheated. imagine if an investor spends $1.2M on a rare and ultra limited Bugatti supercar numbered to 099 and months later sees their identical model selling by the hundreds and not numbered for $800k elsewhere?

exclusive and numbered and sold out means exactly that. period.

Especially if you have to get up in the middle of the night or somehow find time in the middle of your work or even take time off work to order these "exclusives" (I wont even go into the frustrations of Drive and Cap order) then its a slap in the face to find it is later freely and widely available at another retailer. You would have to be mental not to feel aggrieved!

I agree that it hasn't worked out as hoped for, but at the end of the day you could perhaps use it to trade for a more sought after Zavvi Jumanji or Zavvi Tangled etc.

just because one STEELBOOK doesn't meet expectations doesn't mean to say there isn't reason to be optimistic.

The point is this Stiffys that:
* Yeah it sucks that it may not be "Exlusive" to Kimchi
*its not the end of the world
*scalpers will suffer
*its still a collectors delight

It's not really a collector's delight. Not in my eyes anyway. Again, it depends on what kind of collector you are, and there are many different kinds. So, to put out the blanket statement "it's still a collector's delight" is kind of disingenous to me. Same thing with "it's not the end of the world". You can pretty much say that for anything and everything. The only thing you couldn't say that for is if it was literally the end of the world, lol.

Which one is going to be king.
Play, kimchi, or blufans.
Not including FS 'cause it's UGLY. [emoji2][emoji106]
Anyone selling a Play version right now would be nuts. As soon as the dust settles from this and blufans, the Play version will skyrocket as people will realise it remains the best one of all alongside FS's.

Personally IMO I think that all other Iron Man releases will decrease in price as more kimchi and blufans will be selling much better at a cheaper price for an iron man steelbook!! :D "In with the new, out with the old"

There is a chance that any exclusive release could have a non exclusive version pop up, but what's the point in getting all worked up before an announcement has even been made?

Is there nothing else to talk about that some people end up just speculating for kicks now?

Don't disagree but unless I am wrong this sort of thing is only happening with Korean "exclusives" and not with any other (I mean not in the same country atleast)

My tracking says its through customs and in the hands of USPS! Wow zipped through there in less then a day, fastest I've ever had or seen. And on a Sunday, lol

So with this news I should get it early this week. Hopefully, but you never know.
