Lenticular arrived today, box was a mangled smooshed mess that got me very worried, but the thanks to the bubblewrap, the steel turned out just fine. :)

The steel is really wedged in the lenticular slip, very tough to get out.

Mine is still:
20:36 03-Dec-2014. - Arrival at inward office of exchange - USSFOA

Whatever that means. I guess it's at San Francisco customs office? :(

In customs. Hope they don't open the steel. I actually had my first ever opened steel by customs this week. They opened up a copy of Frozen Anna Edition. I was surprised at how careful they were. They opened it on the side leaving the wrap intact. Almost as if it was a steel collector who did it. LOL.

I think you must have been lucky. From what I have heard they aren't usually so delicate when handling items!

Thats one of the few benefits of UK customs. They might hit you with charges but they are not allowed to open any items or they have to give you the full monetary value for doing so and that includes aftermarket prices if the item is sold out.

So I decided not to ditch work and just picked it up today. My post office is known as the worst post office in the city. There is only metered parking and the meters nearest are 24 minutes. I always park a block away in the 1 hour meters because they are so slow. There was only 5 of us in line today but people were getting ready to riot over the snails pace the lady at the counter was working. Someone came to her rescue and helped all of us in the same amount of time she took to help 1 person. Still worth it though:) I got #1264 of the full slip. Probably will remain sealed as I have a few different Iron Man Blu Rays now.

Think I got mine today, had a notification in the box though I WAS at home! I hate my postman, not the first time this happened! Lazy bugger.:jacked::spitout::cautious::mad::banghead::banghead:
Same deal! I figured I'd check the status...turns out it got here Tuesday (!), and was sitting at the post office!!
No note in my box, no email, no phone call... They gave me the 'I dunno...oops' excuse. I shutter to think of when it would have reached that threshold of days (7, 8??) where something happens and the Post Office sends it back into the system to never be seen again... Freakin idiots. 'Return to sender' is a bit of a bigger deal when it just came from the other side of the world!

No one can ever make mistakes! Did you file a formal complaint with the mail headmaster? Someone must pay for this insolence!
