I really see the disaster coming since both kimchi and ninja websites WILL crush when this goes live. That's for sure. While I could get Thor without problem, I really had a hard time getting Frozen.

Please Choi, could you please talk to kimchi and see if they can at least double the print run? Because I think whether or not you can get a copy, it shouldn't depend on your internet band width and luck...

Thanks!

totally agree that it shouldn't come down to your internet speed but the problem with a higher print run means its less exclusive. The draw of a lot of these Asian releases are the small print run (and i understand thats not the case for some) but if something is easy to obtain it kind of kills the fun of it and stops being "limited or "exclusive"

just my opinion :)

Yeah but 2000 is still a very limited print run. I've read that Iron Man FS had a even much higher print run. But it still became THE grail.

While I respect the opinion, I just have to disagree. I buy the steels I really like and want to be able to even have a chance to get one without having to live with my computer in hand every moment.

Limited is fine, super limited to the point of not being able to buy one unless you get it within minutes or an hour is stupid. Recent case in point, the Best Buy Thor. I grabbed one of 3 when the store opened, but had to rearrange my life to be there and I felt legitimately bad for the people who were there 15 minutes ahead of time but didn't get to the display in time to get one. Different situation I know, but just an example of the idiocy of making something so scarce.

Again, one man's opinion.

Off topic but Incredible Hulk does deserve a great steel. Hopefully someone steps up

I agree. Somehow, Incredible Hulk has gotten overlooked when it comes to really great Steelbooks. The "landscape" one is not bad, but it doesn't feel as though it's in the same class as the other Avengers Steelbooks.

It's too bad there aren't plans (that I've heard of) for another Hulk movie with Mark Ruffalo in it; that might have been the shot in the arm this movie needs to get a cool SB.

If this has already been asked I apologise.

Is this also getting a general release without the kimchi exclusives, like some of the other discs or is the 1000 it? and if more, who will be releasing them?

If following the other releases:

300 1/4 Exclusive
700 Full Lenti Exclusive
1000 Full Slip (Non Kimchi Exclusive) - Could be up on the site and maybe YesAsia

But I can foresee the amounts doubled for this one EEK!

I think Kimchi will need to work hard to have extras vs. the wide release, as they have for their other releases. But I would think the studio will definitely capitalize on the success of this franchise. Big movies usually never get small(er) print runs for obvious reasons. But, given the quality of Kimchi releases lately, I hope our Iron Man fans get something special:scat:
