I've received this very disturbing message from play.com -

"We are writing in regards to your recent order for Iron Man: Paramount
Centenary Edition (Play.com Exclusive Steelbook)
We have been advised that this item has been removed from sale and
therefore it is with regret that we are unable to fulfil your order. Your
outstanding order for this item has been cancelled - please note that your
card has not been charged.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused in this matter

How can they do that to me? I ordered in May/June for three copies and they did not fulfill a single copy to me. W T F

They seem to have made alot of f£$k ups regarding this release thats a very similar email to the one I had when one of their staff decided to cancel mine :angry:
Hope they can do something for you :ohno:

I order on 16th June for the three copies and they did not fulfill a single copy for me. How disappointing with play.com. I just wrote them a strong email and hopefully they might at least fulfill one copy for me. This is not the first time I order from them and so far there is no problem. Must be the staff cancel my order and give it to their buddy buddy.

Iron Man was still in stock on 16th June (was only announced on 15th June) so that is very poor from Play.

Not received my iron man today neither..postman has been and gone.

You guys are making me nervous I hope they come ok

Let's hope play.com understand how much this release means to us collectors

Yeah I dont think your gonna get any. I had the same before on X Men First Class ages ago, my order was cancelled as there weren't any left. I protested and complained but there is nothing they could do. If you ask nicely around a UK member may help give you a copy at cost. I am sure they would.

I did manage to get some on another account (long story and not for here ;)) not enough to cover everyones but we all got one at least! (well they havent arrived yet) All Play could do was apologise Im sorry to say :(
The only plus side for me was that this was quite a while ago so I had time to 'persue other avenues' them doing it now is worse I think :angry:

OMG. IM2 dispatched
IM status turns from Processing in warehouse to Pre-ordered. Ordered at June 15th.

If IM would be canceld i have no use for IM2 so they get ist back.

seems someone else over at BD.com got the same email
 
I am not concerned about the Iron Man 1 showing up late but I have had missing parcels with play last month which is what worries me.

Mistakes do happen but I too shipped nearly 100 Steels from my tiny 42 sq.m apartment without a single error. So there is absolutely no excuse for a big retailer like play to make mistakes.

I do appreciate that they are working hard to please collectors but the kind of issues being reported is simply unacceptable.

I don't understand how it is that some people from London received their copies yesterday and today and some not... is royal mail delivering them alphabetically? :angry::angry::angry:
