I believe they will both go up in value. IM is IM and no one wants an incomplete collection. Maybe here is the time for the collectors to hold onto their IM's until their value rises and be worth more when IM3 comes out?

Maybe also the design of the IM3 steel could also effect play or FS editions - like if IM3 goes better with FS edition, FS edition could benifit more than play edition or vice versa

FS version will always command a premium price. It is one of the original holy grails, it's the heart of the Future Shop steels, it has the original blue banner, the original IM release.

I don't think the FS version will be affected much, I think it be more of the Play.com one that will climb more in value as they are better price ranged for the general market and like I said, no one wants a missing trilogy.

They should release two versions, one with the blue banner and one without.

It has hovered around the same price since it was released. Anywhere from £30-£50 for a sealed/mint copy at the moment.

I would say it's a £40-£45 steel at the moment. Factor in the IM3 release and it's a buy at the moment before prices rise.

The price of IM Play is about US$70 and IM FS is at least US$800. Although I think that IM FS is nicer, I would still say that IM Play is relatively undervalued at the moment.

The 3rd party seller that sold them recently. It was dispatched last Monday but I know a few people had them arrive on Friday - it wasn't in my post today.

07/01/2013 - Dispatch date. Estimated 3-4 working days delivery, so it should have been with me Friday 11th Jan at the latest, however, looking at the feedback, it can take 3-4 weeks for delivery for this dire seller.
