I just went to the HT shop to see when I can pick mine up. I might have to wait till end of next month...

Some of you might get yours before me.

Let me introduce you to the world of buying HT here in HK.

Preorders are done by placing an order at the HT shop. This is the only way. There is no convenient way of ordering online like SS. Likewise when the figure is released you have to go to the shop to collect it. They do not do postal delivery.

The date and time of your preorder determines the date and time you can collect your preorder. In other words first come first serve. Now you can see everyone is going to want to get an order in as early as possible. This is why there are a thousand line queues for every big name release when preorder starts.

MarkVII preorder started 27th July 2012. Preorders up to 28th July 2012 AM time can pickup their figure. Everyone else has to wait for the next batches.

My preorder was 31st July, so I am having to wait another month to get mine. Yes, get an order in 5 days later and wait one month more to collect :(

However, with so many complaints, they have changed the ordering system starting from MK42 die cast. VIP customers can preorder on the first two days. Non VIP members have to register on the HT website and are given a randomly chosen day to make the preorder payment. This is now a much better arrangement.

No, just simply can't make them fast enough. At least this means the quality is not being compromised.

Low on stock or something? Sounds like they might have oversold, IM was a very popular figure, no?

Interesting, I can see how much more hassle it is to collect on your end. While I envy the fact that u have a store, I am more glad to have a simpler way to do this :p

Anybody have any ideas where I could pick this up from?

At the moment, Ebay or HK toy sellers. Its only just been released in Hong Kong, while the rest of the world are still waiting on preorders.
Of the local/UK retailers I'm aware of, practically all have sold out of their pre-order allocation.
You may want to chance it and wait for UK retailers to receive stock and check for any spares that might show up.
As I posted higher up, larger retailers like Modelzone and Forbidden Planet do tend to get extras/spares.
Hope that helps ...

I don't particularly mind the delay at moment. I've just had to pay for a Thor, Black Widow and DX11 Joker in the space of a week, so my wallet needs time to recoup :p

I preordered it with estatic arts and my delivery is saying august where everyone else is saying July! I hope it is officially July and it doesn't get pushed back again.
