MOD UPDATE - turns out King of Steel Media (@Kosm aka Matt aka CreativePlus aka MovieCrate) is most likely a scammer to some extent, so I urge people not to purchase from him. If you've been unfortunate enough to have done so already, then please make a claim through your bank/Paypal ASAP!

Hi All,

As I see more and more complaints about this reseller and have a issue myself with this guy, I was wondering what's going on, I ordered some 'in stock' items back in November;

...And now still waiting for the refund as I wad done waiting and especially when this fella informed a couple weeks back that the OC of Tenet was NOT even in his possession. WTF?!?! And now I get these mails regarding these custom releases he's releasing himself...
How is it even possible if you cannot even manage forwarding 'in hand' items...

Hello everyone, here are my latest exchanges with King of Steel. He should try his hand at comedy...View attachment 604727
What an utter fanny.

‘Accidentally’ copying you in to an email he’s sent to his imaginary ‘legal department’ (think a lone monkey flinging magnetic letters at a fridge). It’s like Alan Partridge patting his briefcase and saying he’s just off to do some work, then it falls opens and spills the contents of sweet f-all.

Even if he was employing some Lionel Hutzalike off the high street, why would he need sentencing guidelines. Is he a judge?

Still, ‘Karen’ is doing a ******* cracking job, has to be said!

Hi, new discussion this time with Steven...
Things have improved because he made a bank transfer, which I saw in my pending transactions, but the bank rejected it.

I advise you to look at the information related to his company; there is some interesting information, especially the number of employees at zero...

I received these from Michael (kosm) just today, so he's still sending stuff out. I too, still have other things on order with him, but they are things that haven't yet been released.

Yet he's fine with spamming people's inboxes with his 30 second sales

Also, I notice "Steven" has picked up the same habits with his grammar from Mickey Mouse Mike... I wonder why?!

Ha yeah, love how he often refers to himself as "we"

Citizen's Advice told me it's a common tactic long-term scammers use... to actually deliver on a number of occasions as to try and gain some trust and appear legit. She did say the biggest red flag is the changing of the company name however. Glad you were at least one of the few who finally received something anyway... the rest of us here obviously weren't so lucky.

Hi,
No response to my emails since October 9, he must be enjoying a well-deserved vacation lol. For The Creator, the listing on the website indicates availability on May 18... without the year! And the Mummy Trilogy purchase page is no longer accessible.
I've put together a file explaining the situation with screenshots and our email exchanges, and I've contacted various organizations (Citizen's Advice, CMA, ASA, CMC). I hope that this will at least highlight this seller's dishonesty.

Well, I hope he keeps his word and that this will finally be settled.

Can't you just make a PayPal claim or credit card chargeback?
Unfortunately, my bank advisor tried twice to open a dispute file for the payments, but it was refused and closed. As for PayPal, once the 180-day deadline had passed, they didn't care and just refunded me €40 to be nice. I hope that my efforts with the authorities and consumer rights organisations will be successful. I have had some feedback, and in the meantime, I am following up with Michael by email every day.

If enough people make a claim via paypal, and in a reasonable amount of time then paypal suspend the account until all monies are resolved so they can no long buy or sell with that account. This is probably the best method.

In all honesty, anything after twenty-eight days is more than enough post release date for a claim.

A year later, nobody will take the matter seriously and you'll struggle to get anything back. This is what I've been told by paypal and a few consumer credit authorities as their view is why did you leave it so long?

I've bought from him in the past, terrible service and reasonable not collector condition quality on newly released items so after a few sales I stopped buying from him for those reasons. The worst being paying £260 for a one click set pre-order then seeing it discounted below £200 a few weeks later on the KOSM site.

Best of luck to all of you, hope this all gets resolved.

When you think the turns in this winding road will take you no further, another twist happens. Wow wow wow.... wow.

On the other foot, I don't get any feedback from Cinemuseum anymore, only conversations there as when they (or he) want(s) more money. At least people are in some dialog here. Not healthy dialog IMHO.
